Pale golden, frothy head. Fairly malty with fruity notes, bit dry-ish. Fatty malt, rounded mouthfeel, pretty bitter in finish. A german pils, with a pronounced bitterness.
Light golden, ok white head. Hoppy, grassy aroma with malty notes. Flavor is hoppy but flat. Some grass and hay. Thin body. bark (255) - Linköping, SWEDEN - APR 2, 2005
Bottle. The colour is pale white; the foam is white, airy and it forms a large firm head.
The smell is full of bread-like malt with a shade of sweetness and some bitter hops.
The carbonation is fresh and a bit soft on the tongue.
The taste is rather soft at first, but it develops into a generous bitterness and an increasing sweetness with some fine body. The aftertaste is long wits some bittersweet notes and a grand bitterness.
I found this German pilsner much better than I had expected!
