Bottle. Hazy amber color with white head. Aroma is dough, some overripe bananas, some nutmeg, cloves, bubblegum. Taste is mineraly, a bit dusty, cheesecake, nutmeg, a touch of fussle oils. Silky mouthfeel. Solid Urweisse, its character goes a bit into the Schneider direction.

(bottle) murky amber colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of wheat, cheesecake and vanilla, slightly oaky, with a touch of yeast and some bubble gum. flavour is mostly the same, though the spiciness is slightly subdued, with lots of wheat, cheesecake, a touch of clove, wholegrain toast and a semi-dry herbal-hoppy finish. medium-bodied with lively carbonation. nice!

Amber with medium white head. Aroma is apples, overripe banana, maybe clove, some deep malty toffee. Taste is full bodied medium sweetness with some sour yeasty stuff and average tartness. Slightly dusty finish, not exactly rounded. Still quite good.

A cloudy, golden yellow coloured beer with a thick white head. A very light nose, wheaty, spicy and a hint of tropical fruit, plus a slight bubblegum-like aroma. The taste is dry, cereal wheat and spice, peppery and clove, the usual tropical fruit flavours of banana, mango etc., plus a slight sourness towards the end. the finish is dry. (Bottle - purchased from Trinkmarkt Altstadt, Neufahrn bei Freising, Germany).

UPDATED: APR 27, 2017 Re-rate from bottle, Roth version. Nice full wheat and lime cheesecake aroma with light salt. Cloudy orange, white layer. Earthy, salty entry, good full wheat notes, restrained banana, vanilla, spice, minerals retronsal. Nice. Old rating: 7 3 7 3 13Citric/acidic nose. Cloudy yellow, big white head. Subdued yeasty banana flavor, hop aftertaste. Lightbodied. Nice, but somehow I had expected a little bit more from a homebrewers recipe.
