Tap at the Schwarzwaldstuben on Tucholskystr. Clear, bright golden with a bright white rocky head. A really nice, gentle, soft, citric maltiness resolving to just the perfect bread finish. Touch of sweetness leading off but that’s overtaken by the light bitterness. Balanced hops, medium body. Bright and friendly. Sven1973 (591) - GERMANY - MAR 27, 2016

Bottle: Pale golden coloured, almost creamy off-wite head, stable and lacing; sweet malty, a bit cardboardy aroma with a faint, but distinctive aromatic hoppiness; bitter-sweetish flavour, quite light bodied, soft MF; shorter, aromatic hoppy finish with a touch of honey and sweet malt. A bit thin, but a decent and aromatic Pils, though........ kappldav123 (6153) - GERMANY - AUG 11, 2008
The bottle looks simple, but good. The beer in the glass looks good, very zippy, nice head. The beer tastes very spicy, only modest hoppy. Good beer! DasMollengrab (34) - Berlin, GERMANY - JUL 4, 2011
Light bodied Pilsner, displaying slight fruity aromas (apricots come to mind), accented by refreshing citrusy highlights. The finish shows elegant, lingering bitterness. Far from complex, but pleasing. Maria (10211) - Thisted, DENMARK - JUL 25, 2011
It’s slightly hazy, light golden with a white head, and the aroma has notes of straw, bread and malt. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of straw, malt, light bread, citrus, and the finish is dry. Maracuja05 (2052) - Mainz, Rineland-Palatinate, GERMANY - AUG 10, 2017
