COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Stuntman is all about pushing boundaries and testing limits of human endurance. This is a very hoppy beer! Some might say too hoppy, but you hop heads out there are in for a real treat. Ten hop additions create a tsunami of flavours and textures that explode across the poor unsuspecting palette. Taste buds are left reeling, stunned, like they have been eleven rounds with The Green Machine. If you find all the hops a bit much, remember, Its not to hoppy, youre to soft!! HARDEN UP. The Stuntman is stupid beer for brave people.so get brave stupid!

A good hoppy smooth sweet taste. Nothing to write home about but very enjoyable drinking.

On tap at Brothers Beer. Pours hazy with a mild aroma of pine. Flavour is big pine, funk and grass. Decent.

Pleasant pine aroma in a golden pour. Big hop forward balance with a tasty fruit body and big sustained bitter finish. A nice clean example of the style - but maybe a little one dimensional compared to other local examples (eg. Liberty Citra).

[8209-20160509] Tap. Fruity candy store aroma is slightly musty, reminds me of a Bulk Barn dried fruit section. Fruity toasted citrus malt flavour has a grainy base. Medium body. Good. (7/3/7/3/14) 3.4

2016-05-09. Crisp dark yellow body with a small creamy beige head. 3+ Aroma is relatively alcoholic, burying the pleasant lemon and citrus hops to a certain extant. Flavour is hoppy, moderate fruit up front gives way to stronger bitterness that follows. Average plus bodied palate, good carbonation. 3+ Okay, the hops dont quite stand up to the alcohol enough for my liking. 7/3/7/3/13-14 On tap at Hallertau Brewbar, Auckland, NZ.

On tap at brewery. Golden to amber color, hazy liquid, white quickly fading head. Quite sweet, medium bitter. Boring.

Tried on tap at Fine Wine Delivery Co. Quite a lively beer with some inviting citrus passion fruit flavours, balanced with pine needles and resin. Not over powering for a 8.5% beer, rather easy drinking leaving a pleasant tingle on the side of the tongue.

Bottled @ our hotel, Auckland. Very last beer before leaving. New Zealand holiday 2011-12. Old notes. The aroma has tropical fruits, citrus. Clear, copper with a white head. (My notes have a ? after the appearance, so unsure). The taste is nice and full. Has citrus mainly, some maltiness. Quite some bitterness. Very nice.

I rather like an aggressively hoppy IIPA. Theyre frequently a challenge to the tastebuds and a general joy to behold. This one is a bit of an ugly critter with its hazy dark amber body and nil head. Not even a good shake will bring out any head even though there is evident carbonation rising from the glass. The aroma is of tropical flowers, guava, mangoes and even a little fresh acetone. The body is silky and oily (which is a plus) and while there is definite warmth from the alcohols, the bitterness is slightly less aggressive than the golden ale from California I consumed a couple of hours ago. Theres good fruitiness persistent in the flavour, but for all the hype and hyperbole on the label, I was expecting a beer that would grab me by the tonsils and whirl me around its head. I didnt get that. Im sorry, not a star this beer.
