[1145-20080301] Bottle. Wet banana bread and walnut yeast aroma. Hazy, light brown body with a long-lasting bubbly white head. Boozy wet banana bread continues in flavour with slightly off notes and something like coriander. Medium body has a funky finish. Weird, not in a good way.

(3/2/08) A bottle sample shared by someone (thanks) at Zythos Bier Festival 2008 in Sint Niklaas. Golden color. Fruity and spicy aroma - too spicy. Sweet fruity flavor with some yeast and some bitter hops in the finish. Medium-bodied. OK but nothing more.

Bottle @ Zythos Bier Festival 2008, Sint Niklaas, Belgium. Unclear hazy light to medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, roasted, fruity, moderate hoppy, citrus, toffee, coriander. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (010308)

ZBF 08. Hazy, peachy blonde pour with a thick, rocky, offwhite head. Aroma of yeast, spices and fruits. Good flavor of yeast, spices and fruits. The body is light with an oily texture and expansive, lively carbonation. This is the only Alvinne product I’ve rated below 3.5, maybe it’s because it lacks a distinct character, but still it’s a good beer.

ZBF08. OK apple juice aroma. Cloudy orange colour. Small white head. Refreshing, sour flavour, some fruity acid. Quite good.

jercraigs (10303) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 11, 2008
2008-03-01. Golden/pastel yellow body with a large off-white head. Sweet fruity caramel and malt aroma, light spice? Something not quite mushrooms, and musty tropical fruit. Sweet flavour, spiced fruit, pale malt, dry finish with brief glimpses of toffee. Pleasant aftertaste. (7+) Average to medium palate. Good, grows on me as it goes on.
Bottle? at Zythos Festival, St. Niklaas

ZBF2008: From bottle. Pours hazy orange with a dense off-white head. Light orange fruity aroma. Flavour is mild caramel malt, light fruity and goes into a solid citric/acidic orange flavour. Ends light citric.

Skinnyviking (9550) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAR 9, 2008
Bottle. High creamy and lasting off-white head. Hazy orange body. Aroma and and flavor of sweet and yet spicy with little hops bitterness and a high carbonation. Short aftertaste. Pretty watery and rather boring.
