[email protected] BF 2011 (backlog). Very deep reddish brown colour with a small beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, caramel, some ashes and mild chocolaty notes. Flavour is chocolate, caramel, mild roast, some toffee and ashed. Pleasantly balanced, big roasted finish.

Draught at Copenhagen Ølfestival 2012. Opaque brown to black color. Sweet aroma of licorice, coffee, dark sugar and chocolate. Sweet flavor of chocolate and licorice, plenty of cocoa nibs taste. Mouthcoating woody palate. Long woody chocolatey aftertaste.

From tap at Ølbaren. Lasting, low, off-white head to a more or less jet black body. Slightly roasted dark malts to the nose with vanilla sweetness lurking in the back. Mocha-like taste character, slightly roasted and supported by hints of liquorice and nuances of spices. Plain bittersweet ending. Pleasing (04.11.2011).
