Hald, 28/7 2016. 50 cl bottle at friends. Plundered landscape with red sky om the label. Pours hazy orange/red with white head. Head disappears fairly fast. No lacing. Aroma is sweet caramel intermingling with fruity lemon. Medium carbonation and watery palate.
Taste is medium sweet followed by a light bitterness. Short lightly bitter aftertaste. A tofeefee experience with a light sour twist - apparantly with a bloody story. TorbenJensen (1532) - Valby, DENMARK - AUG 23, 2015
Røde Ran has great renewable light brown foam. There is not much carbonation, practically nothing but the beer is fresh and foam renewal perfect when the glass wobbled. The beer hangs thick in the glass and reveals a nice aroma of caramel and light floral notes. The taste reveals a rich malt profile with lots of caramel malt, fine hoppy aftertaste with a touch of spices. The bitterness is moderate, but good, soft and round. Despite its 6% taste the alcohol through as you sense a higher alcohol content than it actually is. It is not destructive to the beer, rather a fact which underlines the high quality. It is quite certain type of real and more classes than other similar red ales. Kronebryg (1124) - Sorgenfri, DENMARK - FEB 27, 2013
