Countbeer (6589) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - SEP 7, 2013
Bottle: Thanks to Papsø: Served in a Chouffe glass:
Beautiful label: completely white with big letters: SEJL.
Medium sized, sticky and slowly changing creamy light beige to off white foamy head on top of a brown colored beer.
Aromas of caramel, chalk, malts, tast, some bark, some soap and older hops, hint of puke and autumnal leaves.
Flavours of toast, caramel, some light coffee notes, light cacoa, bitter, herbs, bread, some hay, malts, some toasted wood, herbs and some dried raisin notes.
Aftertaste is a mix of bitters, toast, bread, light malty and some chalk.
Medium carbo, lightly blown but than airy creamy mouthfeel, medium bodied and a light creamy texture.
As said before I dig the simple label. The beer is quite decent, with a good bitterness, and some typical brown ale ingredients, but there is nothing exciting to be discoverd. anders37 (27635) - Malmö, SWEDEN - AUG 23, 2013

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear orangey brown with an off-white head. Tart, roasty nose, a little tobacco. Medium body, a very dry roastiness, somewhat nutty and again this slight tartness that I suspect is a lurking infection. Ends dry. 200713 humlelala (1375) - DENMARK - MAR 28, 2013
(50 cl bottle from the brewery) Pours a transparent, dark copper with medium, white head. Decent retention, beautiful lace and good regeneration. Aroma is roasted malt with nutty and toffee notes. Oily texture, medium body, soft carbonation and a dry finish. Taste is hop dominated with a roasted accent. Decent, american inspired brown ale.
