A little tart and sweet for a saison. Almost syrupy. Too much. Saison heavy is what I would call it. Draft pour at Andersonville Brewing, part of a flight. beastiefan2k (4069) - HdG (past: NYC, KS, Rain City), Maryland, USA - JUN 28, 2014
Sampler at brewpub. I really like that there is a saison in the regular lineup, even if it’s not to my liking. It’s a dark orange hued beer. Soapy/dishwater mouthfeel like a lot of the other beers. It’s a tangy and poorly estery brew. The parts don’t meld well. I ended up blending it at the end with some of the other beers. hombrepalo (1971) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 19, 2014
On tap Sunday. Hazy golden pour with a generous white head. Fragrant nose of grassy hop, yeast and citrus. Similar flavor with a slight tartness and a hint of spice. Light and easy drinking, meh! rubbishystuff (2537) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - NOV 11, 2012
UPDATED: FEB 16, 2015 At the brewpub. Quite an odd beer. Sweet and floral tasty. The malt level, and yeast flavor were a little strange but some how it comes together OKish. Serving: Tap NobleSquirrel (3438) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - SEP 21, 2012
Draft at Belgian Fest. Pours a deep gold, near orange with a white head. The nose has some tart notes, fruity yeast. White pepper. Malt is somewhat muted. On tasting, it is again fruity. Some pils malt sweetness comes through but also a distinct tang on the dry finish. Odd. Hops are present, lending an herbal quality. Okay.

On tap at the brewpub. a clear gold with a white head that dissipates completely. Aroma has a good amount of floral with a sweet grain backing and sweet light fruits. Flavor is sweeter with candied sugar and grains that are backed by light fruit and flora.
