1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Pretty much a beer flavored water, but it’s drinkable, refreshing and has no offending aromas or after taste.
12 oz can shared by a friend, thanks Mike. Clear straw golden yellow with off-white head. Aromas of corn, malt, wheat. Tastes of corn, malt, water. Light watery body with a dry finish. Rex_Remes (283) - Bonyhad, HUNGARY - OCT 29, 2017
UPDATED: DEC 30, 2017 (12oz can) AROMA: fair amount of nose, with corn, light malt, wet paper, biscuit, just a touch of smoke and perfume APPEARANCE: medium light straw yellow, average white head, clear TASTE: sweet corn, light malt, soft lager notes PALATE: realtively light, crisp, good amount of fizz, clean, very little bitterness, easy followthru OVERALL: a middle of the road lager, refreshing, no bad tastes, a decent pale beer for the price, better than Bud Firestar (4) - - SEP 21, 2017 does not count
This is the beer I keep in the fridge just to grab and drink regularly. I enjoy good beers but this is nice and refreshing for drinking more often. And at $13 a 30 pack you can afford the good stuff to go with it. It has a good light flavor and finish. This is the 'fat chick' of beers.... You'll enjoy drinking it but you won't tell your friends you did.

Drank from a can. Aroma is bread and corn malts. Flavor is similar, a little sweet. Well-carbonated and crisp. Okay for style. TheOneTrueHamm (1) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUN 3, 2017 does not count
Crisp, versatile, and refreshing, this beer provides the price tage of a Red Dog with the flavor profile of a premium draft beer. Hamm’s Special Light’s gentle aroma hides it’s delicate flavor until the moment it gaces your lips. This well rounded beer can be enjoyed by a vast array of drinkers, new and old, adept or novice. As legend has it, Hamm’s is the beer of choice among pilots as it bestows a fulfilling relaxed intoxication with minimal hangover. America’s classic, born in the land of the sky blue waters. What more can you ask for?

For a light pale lager it’s good. No foul funky grossness. Easy going down. What the he double hockey sticks else you want in cheap beer? Happy New Year! slowrunner77 (13171) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 24, 2016
old review - a little less offensive than regular Hamms, so a little more palatable. Has that classic swill stank though that non beer drinkers think of when they think of "beer" puboflyons (3529) - Allenstown, New Hampshire, USA - JUL 2, 2015
From the 12 fl. oz can stamped Sep 14-15 on the bottom. Yellow pour with a fizzy white head that fades quickly. Carbonated to the max. Aroma of toasted biscuit, corn grits, and grassy hops. Adjunct typical. Watery-thin body. The taste is what you would expect but it is not horrible. Mild sweet toasted malts lead to a grassy, clean hop finish. Feels heavier than a light but the character is pretty basic for the style. RSRIZZO (2034) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - JUN 28, 2015
12oz can (courtesy of Headbanger) poured into Shaker at 41°. It has a light crystal clear gold color with good carbonation and a loose white head. Aroma is faint with just a hint of corn coming out. It has a very light body with a crisp mouth feel. Flavor is as light as the aroma giving a very light corn sweetness up front and just a hint of bitterness on the back. After taste is clean and a little dry. Overall better then I was expecting but still just another bland Pale Lager. SteveOrz85 (256) - Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 6, 2015
From 12 oz can. Very little aroma. Light grainy flavor. Soft carbonation. Smooth finish. Just a simple ligjt beer. Great summer drinker. Tailgate or fishing beer. $13 for a 30 pack. Best light beer for the money.
