Hamms is available in select states.

12 oz. can from notes. Pours a pale yellow gold color with a small white head. The aroma and flavor had the typical corn, grainy malt, some skunky notes, some metallic character, pretty much your typical crappy pale lager, not worth revisiting ever.

Drank from the can but Im pretty darned sure that it didnt look to good. Had no aroma to speak of and tasted much like carbonated water. Im sure this is cheap and you can drink a hundred of them for under fifty bucks but that doesnt excuse bad beer..... does it?

Can at muddy waters. Very little flavor but cold. About what was expected. Good if youre at a dive bar just trying to kill time.

I found it to be indistinguishable from Old Milwaukee in taste but with better (darker) color and head retention. Hamms also has .01% more alcohol... and its union made. My favorite macro thus far.

I went to a place that wasn't my house and drank a Hamms, and now I'm writing about it.

12oz can, big thanks to brainforest for this one. Can dated Jun2915. Poured into a (rinsed) snifter that I just drank a Bells Saturn out of. Totally clear golden color. Thin white head. Some lace. Bread, corn in the nose. Wet bread in the flavor. Some macro-metallic twinge. Taste is moderate sweet, light to moderate bitter, some bit to it, touch of sour. Lighter to medium body. Kind of soft, moderate strength rougher tingly carbonation. Still, though, drinkable enough to sip on while bullshitting. Refreshing, in a harshly carbonated water kind of way. Ay, bets Bud I say.

From college memories...all bad. Beer flavored water. Refreshing when cold, and not much else.

Can: It does not get much worse than this. If you are holding a can of Hamms, you may need to take a step back & re-evaluate your priorities in life. My local liquor store sells a thirty (30) pack of cans for 12.99 out the door. THIRTEEN DOLLARS for THIRTY cans of this boost juice. This comes out to 43 cents per can... That is cheaper than most places sell bottled water for. I literally cannot fathom how Miller/Coors makes money on this product. Hell, maybe they dont. Unless you plan on waking up & taking the walk of shame, theres no reason to have this in your life. You are better than this. I promise. There is hope for you yet.

I dont know if its the frugal side of me that sees a little more appeal in this than a PBR, but I thought this was a standout as far as cheap beer goes. Not bad at all. Id have to have it side-by-side with PBR to know for sure, but its pretty decent.
