Can, thanks to Atom.Pours a light golden with huge white head. 2 fingers. Aroma is malt and skunk. Taste, more malt, corn, slight skunk and some water. Overall, this is nothing special and definitely no PBR.

Pershing (567) - Garland, Texas, USA - SEP 12, 2017
Pours clear yellow with a lasting head and lots of visual carbonation in the form of tiny bubbles. Light malt, corn and rice aroma. Light body with an above average hop bitterness for this macro. Much better than the 3 other major macros. Makes a decent session beer. Finishes dry. Better than expected.

UPDATED: SEP 9, 2017 I'm old school and love this beer. The fact that it has been brewed since 1865 should say something. I raise a glass to all those who came before who thought that this beer did the job.

Draft at the High life lounge. Pours piss yellow with a thin white head. Doesn't leave much lacing. A slight caramel malt note on the nose. Tastes of corn when it tastes of anything at all. Finished crisp and clean. Not as crap as I thought it would be.

6-pack of tallboys at Sheetz (gas station w/ food). I foolishly told the cashier she must have been wrong when she told me the price - $3.20, including tax. She was correct. This is the single cheapest six pack available here, by a whole dollar, making Hamm’s 25% cheaper than even Genesee (which I don’t mind, especially the Cream Ale), Labatt Ice, or the beast. I wasn’t sure $2.99 was even a legal price in Ohio. Anyway, this is basic, standard, old man beer, about on par with the likes of PBR, Stroh’s, Schlitz (NOT Schlitz malt liquor), Nametag/Red Oval, what have you. Yellow and a bit corny, not too sweet to be drinkable, appropriate carbonation, and just funky enough to taste like "regular" beer. Not spectacular or especially good, but unoffensive and shockingly cheap. Definitely a good value, if nothing else.

Scipio (1140) - Palatine, Illinois, USA - AUG 26, 2017
Pours a clear and weaker, macro-looking yellow with a medium white head that recedes pretty quickly. The aroma is more mild, with bread, corn, cereal, and subtle grassiness. The taste is dry, and both slightly bitter and sweet. Floral elements are most prevalent here along with barley. Lesser impressions include bread, hay, corn, and honey, with bread and barley extending into the aftertaste. Light in body and slick in texture. Very drinkable on the cheap. Not that I’d go out of my way to purchase this, but I think I’ve found my favorite macro.

HourGlass13 (984) - North Carolina, USA - AUG 14, 2017
Pours a yellowish straw color with some white foam which disappears quickly. Has corn and metallic aroma. The flavor is pretty much the same. Light grains, corn, and some metal filings, with only a mild hop presence. Barely passable, cheap, beer.

Smells neutral.. a hint of cereal grain.. Taste is hops, corn, a hint of sweetness. It is fairly inoffensive swill.

UPDATED: JUL 29, 2017 My goto working class beer. It taste like beer and it's cheap and gets the job done. When you think beer, you should be thinking Hamms. It's beer. That's about. From the land of sky blue waters.

Very refreshing beer, not to heavy, not to lite. It’s good a overall good crisp taste esp for the price. Beats out most in the "cheap" beer . Compared to most it’s a hellva a lot beer than most, beer snobs please not apply, cause y’all know best for us mere peasants, what’s good and what’s not. Hamms off my beer.

Diablokev (181) - Lakewood, Colorado, USA - JUL 27, 2017
The aroma is a little soapy, the appearance is a pale gold with a decent white head that disappeared quickly. The taste is just about nothing, very faint somewhat like a light beer. Super easy to drink but overall just another plain beer.
