Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Slightly hazy amber golden with a firm white head leaving some lacework. Lightly nutty nose. Medium body, nutty and fruity with a whiff of smoke and tar. 190209 faroeviking (11026) - Chupando chellas es como ellas, FAROE ISLANDS - FEB 26, 2009
Botella. Unclear deep golden colour with a medium white creamy head. Good lacing. Aroma of toasted malt and buitter hops with soem smoke. Good mouthfeel. The flavour has toasted malt and a pleasant bitterness with some smoke to it. Said to be a bit infected, thus the smoke, but I liked this brew. yespr (46805) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - FEB 20, 2009
50 cl bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is mild spiced and light fruity hppy nose. Mild smoked initial flavour with a very subdued hops note. Ends dry and bitter. Mild acidic. Ungstrup (38154) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - FEB 19, 2009
Bottled. An unclear amber beer with huge lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel and some elderflowers. The flavor is sweet with notes of toffee, honey, and flowers, leading to a bitter elderflower finish. Not a very good combination. The body is thin. Thanks yespr for shaing. berkshirejohn (6588) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - FEB 5, 2009
500ml bottle from Waitrose, Andover. Pale chestnut with a loose white head; earthy aroma with spiced apple notes; incredible flavour - like essence of bonfire smoke - with some apple fruitiness, and some deep and bitter chocolate, and some gently roasted nuts - really outstanding. The finish has leafy hops giving a gentle but powerful bitterness. An exceptional beer for its strength. Try to get some while you still can.

Bottle thanks to Jenners Snr. Same hops as the Fortyniner, but so much fresher. Slightly smoked choc malt, musty autumnal wet leaf, apple yeastiness nose. Clear copper with a persistent blanketed head not going anywhere. No clumps of detritus or bog standard BC yeastiness here. Lovely Mild-like clean smoky choc and earthy coffee notes. On this evidence, this brewer APOSTROPHE s demise is a real loss. johndoughty (5504) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - OCT 3, 2008
Bottle. Brownish with a pleasant aroma. A straightforward bitter with a nice lingering bitter aftertaste. Nothing special but still quite nice. Fin (10746) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - AUG 31, 2008
Cask handpull at the Kings Head, Stoborough, Near Wareham, Dorset, 30-08-08 Pours mid amber, this is a really pleasant fruity, tangy bitter, bit malty, but a very good session beer, served in damn good nick, I really liked this and was surprised to see its low scoring. fonefan (50011) - VestJylland, DENMARK - JUL 1, 2008

Bottle conditoned. Poured a lively white head. Amber brown colour. Malty aroma. Fruity on the palate. Bitter sweet finish. One of the better beer from this brewery.
