Bottle at Ungdomshuset. Clear golden with white head. Sweet malts, sugar, light alcohol, soft hop extract, a bit of cardboard and grains. Medium sweet and under medium bitter. Medium bodied. Very meh.

This a hugely underrated beer. When one of my friends from the UK tasted it the other week and had the reaction "OMG it tastes like Monster Munch" I had to try it again. I've not tasted Monster Munch since I was a kid and had forgotten the frame of reference. But yes. This is liquid Monster Munch with alcohol. This could be really popular in the UK one day!

A rich tasty export lager, mild and sweet but still full bodied. Lacks a little bitterness to reach a top score but ranks as my fav Danish lager

Balanced beer, but seems to be a pilsener in disguise. Nothing new under the sun here.

I really like this beer. Am drinking one from a large bottle but have tried draught as well. Much more body than many other danish strong lager. The head disappears rather quickly which is normal for Hancock beer. Has a rich sweet/bitter taste and the bitternes lasts in the after taste together with some sweetness. Be careful not to serve too cold. Its 6.3 and should not be served ice cold - if done so you will only taste the alcohol. Goes well with a danish open sandwich lunch.

Tide (4566) - Helsinki, FINLAND - FEB 5, 2017
Bottle at restaurant. Golden color, white head. Vitter taste with citrus, toast, malts and grass. Bitter finish with citrus, toast, malts and grass. Decent lager.

Bottle poured into nosing glass. Pours crystal clear orange with quickly vanishing white bubbly head. Malty earthy nose slightly herbal. Taste is slightly metallic bitterness, earthy intense grassy, hay, alcoholic backbone. Finish is intense dryish herbal.

En fin maltet smag, smag af karamel og en hel masse sødlig malt. Smager ikke af saaz.

WillemsUrenkel (2088) - Oldenburg, GERMANY - OCT 10, 2016
0,7 l bottle. Clear dark golden in the glass, one finger white head. Malty on the nose, alcoholic. Taste starts smooth, little bit malty, some fruity elements like apple. Mid alcoholic sharpness. Mid bitterness. Can not really convince, especially for that nearly 30,00 dkr I had to pay.
