As it says on the label, golden, wild honey colour but with a film of white head across the body of the glass. The aroma is of lemon curd and starchy straw and this is reflected in the flavour, which is sweetish and then gently acidic leaving an intriguing honeycomb quality.
Nice enough in its own way I suppose, but not massively memorable.
Pours golden, small white head, tiny bubbles. It’s not cloudy like you would expect a wheat beer, nor is there much wheat aroma. It’s very much like an American style wheat that leans towards a light lager. Only very subtle citrus flavour from yeast and hops, and slightly bitter. Not bad, but it’s more of a lager than a wheat beer. waiake (606) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - SEP 25, 2014

Bread and banana cake aroma. Mildly cloudy pale golden colour. Yeasty bread and banana flavours. Little evidence of hops. Lightly carbonated with furry spicy bread aftertaste. Not my cup of tea but a good example of a wheat beer nonetheless kiwianer (3428) - Otorohanga, NEW ZEALAND - FEB 13, 2014
The head is ok, the body blonde, beige and cloudy. It smells roast, yeasty, banana. The taste is yeasty citrus, banana, fruity, bit malty. Ok. 3.1 Travlr (25767) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - AUG 9, 2013
Draft at Beervana. Cloudy yellow color, large fliffy white head. Aroma of slightly sour lemon and grapefruit. Taste is dusty lemons, rising bread dough. Nice. omega (900) - NEW ZEALAND - MAY 2, 2013
UPDATED: MAY 26, 2014 Pours a very cloudy golden colour. Little bit honeyed on the palate and has little carbonation making this an easy beer to imbibe. Lacks a little on the flavour front for my liking, but I can see this beer working well for people who want an introduction to craft. Not overly "wheaty" as well which will help the cause.
