Keg at Craft, Clerkenwell. Very hazy deep amber beer, tiny pale tan head. Palate is light and a little crisp, turning softer. Sweetish malt with a little toffee - caramel. Light minerally hop fruit - sweet orange and a trace of tropical fruits. Light floral note. Semi dry finish. A bit sweet but decent enough!
Tap at the Cask, Pimlico - 26/02/13.
Hazed dark amber/chestnut brown with an off white head that is in a rush to get away from you.
Nose is dank hops, fruit, orange, grapefruit, light brett tones.
Taste comprises hops, over ripe orange, light siap, caramel, sugars.
Medium bodied, very still and flat - minimal carbonation, a little lifeless in this respect, touch of bitterness in the finish.
Ok - a touch above average but not an IPA I’d care to revisit! cgarvieuk (24499) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JAN 31, 2013
