growler thanks to Hophead22! Pours hazy light gold with a medium white head. Aroma is very interesting, part weissen yeast, banana, clove, part spicy Belgian yeast with white pepper and a hint of the cider. Flavor is rich pale malts, sweet light candied sugar, banana and clove. Ends with a lingering cider and clove. Mouth is moderate in carbonation, with a mild dryness in the finish. Very nice beer, I could drink this all day. BMan1113VR (7931) - Los Angeles, California, USA - AUG 15, 2010
On tap at Blue Palms. Pours with a clearish golden body and a small white head. Aroma is sour green apple, caramel, belgian esters and clove. Taste is sweet, spicy belgian yeast, bitter, cider, lavender, caramel. Lively bubbles. Interesting. daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - AUG 2, 2010
Tap at la jolla brewhouse. Clear gold with a white head. Banana, clove, yeast, and bread dough aroma. Flavor is sweet and malty. Oily texture. Tons of banana, clove and gum. Nice. DuffManSW (436) - Riverside, California, USA - JUL 19, 2010
Pours hazy orange with a fluffy white head and lots of carbonation... Aroma is sweet Belgian yeast..Flavor is Belgian yeast up front with some slight apple characteristic...Great carbonation. The 8.4% alcohol is hidden way too well. This beer will be the cause of a lot of unplanned pregnancies in the Redlands area.. Great stuff! Em (102) - USA - JUL 3, 2010
Had on tap at the brewery. A very good beer. I can taste a lot of the apples and cinnamon with also a caramel taste to it. I could drink this beer every day; it is that good to me.

Tap at the brewery. I would have put this in as a cider but who knows. THe description was that it was a fresh pressed cider with Oak Glen [apples?] that was fermented with candi sugar and Belgian yeast. The end product is very odd- like a German hefeweizen and cider mixed together. JoeTheYounger (1183) - Lake Arrowhead, California, USA - JUN 15, 2010
It poured a full translucent glowing yellow with a thin white head that did not leave very much lace. Nose was literally smoked ham, honey baked ham, some smoked malt character, small amount of Belgian yeast and hefeweizen spices poking through the ham. Taste was pretty much all hefeweizen with a cider tartness and sugary sweetness. Really weird.
Pours a hazy golden yellow with fast dissipating white head. Aroma was strong Belgian yeast, bread, and apple peels. Taste was Belgian yeast, spices, sweet fruit. Medium smooth pallet. Overall pretty good. Getbetter (1033) - East Palo Alto, California, USA - JUN 7, 2010
