Clean aroma of citrus and pine as well as light biscuity malts. The flavor is more hops. Not over the top bitterness, just a nice hops profile of citrus and pine as well as a nice biscuity backbone. Soft lingering hoppy resins. Really nice APA. badlizard (5533) - Berkeley, California, USA - APR 18, 2008

Thanks to gcphilli for this extra. Overall a pretty solid pale ale. Big hiss of carbonation escapes as it is opened. Pours clear yellow with a small white head. Nose is malt, grass, hay, and stinging pine hops with a bit of caramel in the background. Flavor is malt, piney hops, with some tangy grapefruit and a lingering hoppy flavor. Pretty balanced, light-bodied, and sessionable pale ale. beerguy101 (5364) - Newark, California, USA - JUL 10, 2011
Sampled on 7/10/2011. This American Pale Ale pours a medium orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head, with decent lacing. The aroma is cereal, grapefruity and citrusy. A medium bodied American Pale Ale. The malts are caramel, fruity and sweet. The hops are herbal, citrusy and grapefruity. Decent carbonation. Very citrusy but not all that bitter. Crisp and clean. Light and refreshing. A very drinkable American Pale Ale. The mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean, dry and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter Blairgus (4615) - California, USA - SEP 19, 2011

12oz bottle. pours clear light gold with white head. nose is earthy, lawn clippings. flavors is earthy, grassy, doughy malts. Terminus (3739) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - JUL 19, 2012
Tap at brewpub and bottle from their awesome mix 12 pk-June 2012-pours lite orange with a smooth sudsy white head. nose is lite floral hops clean cereal-smells more like a hoppy golden ale than a pale. hops are more punchy on tap than in the bottle however, most everything holds together in both samples as being the same. flavors of crisp floral hop notes, clean cereal, lite bitterness more hop flavor than bitterness here. a very solid little pale here-lots of hops yet lite and crisp without big bitterness. good stuff! alexanderj (3605) - Branson, Missouri, USA - DEC 4, 2009
Bottle; poured a clear golden type color; not great lighting so not really sure. Aroma was very bready and earthy, with some citrus and hops. Very northwestern hoppy for me in the nose. Flavor was very earthy and fairly bitter for the style. In all honesty, the flavor featured was one I really didn’t dig. Not too good for me. pantanap (3367) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 22, 2009
12oz bottle from hophead22.....pours a mostly clear light amber brown with a thin wispy white soapy head..... aroma of bready malt and light citrus hops. not too much goin for it.....flavors are equally hop and malt based. citrusy hops meld with biscuity malts. slight bitterness in the finish. somewhat sweet in nature overall. medium carbonation and goes down pretty well.
