750 c&c shared by Marcus. Pours a tinged gold with a slight/transient white head. Aroma of acidic/slightly musty grapes. Or maybe it’s musty wood. Med body. Flavor is woody/slightly spicy/tropical/sourish/grapes. The sour is mild and pleasant. Light burn in the mouth. Goes excellently with Cow Girl Red Hawk cheese. marcus (10979) - Sacramento, California, USA - DEC 4, 2017
Bottle from Cap Tap. Pours bright gold with a modest off-white head and a fruity sour oak aroma. There is a hearty sour fruit flavor with musty grape and a dry tart finish. Very mellow. jtclockwork (17771) - , New Jersey, USA - NOV 16, 2017

750ml bottle pours a bright golden color with a fine head. Fruity aromas waft from the glass as it is poured. Wonderful stone fruit flavor from the Bret that goes so well with the wine barrel.

750 ml bottle. The beer is a nice dull yellowish gold color. Fairly cloudy. Medium white head, a little fizzy maybe. Great tropical fruit hop forward aroma. Some nice vinous barrel action. Big pineapple, kiwi, mango meets white wine and oak. Light lacto character. Taste is moderately to mildly sour. More barrel comes out, particularly oak. It has a kinda messy lacto note to it. Not bad, just kinda odd. Light feel. A little bit of body to it. Very light pucker. I really love the aroma on this beer - wonderful dry hopped sour and barrel flavors - but the taste doesn’t live up to it.

Poured from a 750 ml bottle.
Aroma is fairly hop forward with nice tropical fruit and citrus notes. Some light white wine notes and hints of oak and tannins. Hints of grain.
Pours a hazy, golden color with a medium sized, moderately thick, white head that recedes to a thin film that lingers on the edges. Light lacing and faint legs.
Flavor is moderately acidic with light sweetness. Medium white wine notes with some light oak and tannins. Medium hop notes with tropical fruit and citrus. Light bitterness. Light honey notes.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth.
Overall, the aroma on this is super nice because the hops dominate while the wine barrel provides background complexity. In the flavor the barrel notes and hops are more equal which doesn’t work as well for me. The honey adds a bit of complexity in the flavor but doesn’t show up much in the aroma. Probably my favorite sour from Hangar 24 so far. daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - DEC 31, 2015
Impressive beer. White wine notes are present, lemony, yeast, yogurt, and the hops are amazing. Not bitter but juicy. Perfect addition Ernesto987 (6050) - Arizona, USA - AUG 24, 2015
wow this is impressive. Lots of tropical hoppy flavors, balanced perfectly with sour tartness, wine flavors add apples and tons of flavors. Awesome stuff. djd07 (16465) - Houston, Texas, USA - AUG 16, 2015
Bottle thanks to Russell/Phil. Pours a cloudy gold with small white head. The aroma is white wine and tropical fruit. Thin mouth, juicy hop, oak, vinous, tart finish, very nice. wchesser (2182) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUL 25, 2015
Bottle #383 of 400 from a generous buddy. Slightly cloudy yellow gold, medium head. Tremendous hop led nose of tropical fruit, sweat, very light garlic, light funky cheese, some lactic funk. Taste follows, lightly tart lemon, oak, juicy hops. So much going on here. Top 3 beer of the night for me in a killer lineup.
