On tap @ Hangar 24. Just about black in color with a khaki head. Aromas of roasted malt, cocoa, and vanilla. Some graham cracker, dark fruit, and lots of chocolate. Quite nice. Flavor is pleasantly sweet with a bit of booze. Lots of whiskey, vanilla, and chocolate. Some roast, dark fruits, and graham cracker. Slight spiciness, too. Nice. Tap at H24, Pugafest 2013. Wispy bigger lace on a much to amber SRM pour to be consider an imperial porter. Nose is really rich, heavy fudge, super dense dessert, wow. Taste doesn’t deliver though. It’s way too thin, much too sweet. No body or hop balance needed to complete a monster beer like this. Comes off as sweet tomato water. BMan1113VR (7930) - Los Angeles, California, USA - DEC 22, 2012

Dry finish, big alcohol, medium carbonation with strong tannins.
