Bottle thanks to Tom. Pours yellow with medium white head that lasts. The aroma is funk, wood, and fruit. Medium mouth, nice sour apple, light funk, oak with light dry finish, very nice. Tmoney99 (14860) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAR 15, 2014
Bottle shared by alexsdad06. Poured a clear yellow color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good to excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy sour fruit and yeast aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy sour & tart flavor with a medium to heavy sour & tart finish of moderate to long duration. This is a solid beer for style.

750 ml bottle to taster (2011 vintage; shared by alexsdad06). Looks good for the style; a cloudy deeper honey with fluffy eggshell head. Smells semi-sweet and yeasty. Tastes like it smells, only better, with a dry, bretty mouthfeel. Enjoyable. alexsdad06 (10672) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - MAR 15, 2014
750 ml bottle shared with the group. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with asmall white head. The aroma and flavor have sweet malts, fruity character, light spice, vanilla, wood, the sweet malts are accentuated with notes of honey, mild bourbon,. The finish is a touch soft, but otherwise very good. DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAR 15, 2014
750ml bottle, tasted at Tmoney99’s 10K tasting. Hazy golden orange color.. Thin off-white kind of bubbly head. Good big oaky sour nose, some belgian yeast notes. Moderate sweet taste, some sour tartness. Awesome lemon oakiness, light banana, light spice. Bigger body. good smooth, lighter carbonation, lightly slick texture. Nice belgian strong sour ale.

Rated in April 2012 (Backlog) - Gold in color with a small off-white head. Aroma is of overpoweringly heavy booze. Taste is the same. beersearcher (2382) - Glendale, California, USA - DEC 9, 2012
At the 2012 Barrel Aged Beer Event. I was expecting more from this. Not very tart or very "brett-y" to my taste. Did not taste like 9.5% for sure but was certainly not strong. Mild to me. fata2683 (2176) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - SEP 16, 2012
Bottle thanks to Tim, pours bright hazy orange with a medium white head. Aroma is part cider and part funky yeast. Flavor is not as funky as the nose leads on but has some Belgian yeast tartness much like the seasonal from this brewery. Nice clean light malt bill with the fruity/yeast tartness finishing nicely. I like it.
