Type: 12-oz. bottle
Glass: Pint mug
From: Barons Market in Alpine, Calif.
Price: $9.99 for a 6-pack
Purchased: June 19, 2015

Poured an orange, light honey, semi-clear color with 5-to-6 fingers (bad pour by me) of khaki white, frothy head. Good amount of bubbles coming up from the bottom of the glass. Good amount of foamy, layered, spiderweb lacing on the sides of the glass. Very good retention. (Sight - 4.13)
Smelled a potent good whiff of hops, getting Citra, Simcoe, Mosaic, floral, tropical, Centennial, grapefruit, light mango, Cascade and faint Nelson Sauviin. Wonderful. (Smell - 4.50)
Taste wasn’t quite as good as the nose, but that was understood with my expectations. Got floral, orange blossom, Mosaic, Citra, light Simcoe, Sauvin, Centennial, grapefruit and nectarine rind. (Taste - 3.88)
Medium-to-light body. Oily-to-creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long, slightly bitter, but floral finish. (Feel - 4.00)
This was just a really good IPA. I have to say that I was mightily surprised. Can’t wait to have my other five. (Overall - 4.13)

Bottle. Dark gold with a big fluffy white head. Aroma is tropical fruit, caramel and pine. Taste follows and adds a little earthy bitterness and citrus. Medium mouthfeel and moderate carb. Very good. Barnacle_Ed (51) - Milpitas, California, USA - MAY 17, 2015
UPDATED: MAY 21, 2015 Bottle. Hazy gold with moderate white head. Floral and pine nose, nicely hopped without being oppressive. Great and fresh taste - hops, pine, honey, citrus, peach, and a hint of caramel. Crisp and light feel. Aftertaste is sweet initially but nicely gives way to a bitter resiny feel. Quite nice, wish it was easier to find here. rosenbergh (12021) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAY 12, 2015
Draught at the Blue Palms Brew House, Hollywood, CA.
Clear orange golden colour with a small white head.
Sweet fruity and citrusy hops, moderate bitterness and sweetness in the aroma.
The flavour is fruity hops, mild bitterness and caramel maltiness. Balanced and tasty.

A fantastic IPA. Thanks kathouse! Really fresh smelling and tasting. Aromas of fresh mango, some spicy Hop too. Flavours are fresh and smooth. Tropical fruit and citrus flavours. Green and earthy hops. Awesome.

great IPA. Tons of hop aromas and flavors, lots of citrus. Moderate bitterness, light body. Great execution. slowrunner77 (13368) - Reno, Nevada, USA - APR 22, 2015
nice IPA - adequately hoppy, still tame enough to be a daily brew. I love the hops used...tropical, citrus and pine all in one. feel is a little thin. one catch - date your dang bottles! it’s not that hard. Won’t by again as I don’t know if it’s fresh. This one seemed somewhere between fresh and old.... TylerGreenDC (1143) - - APR 22, 2015
Draft. Aroma of honey, caramel and floral hops, think Centennial aroma plus some malty sweetness. Flavors are strikingly malt-forward, lots of toffee and caramel and some peanut-brittle nuttiness, with some orangey, stone-fruit hops backing it all up. A beautiful, layered beer, the kind of IPA you want to drink every day. sturmthis (1195) - Bavaria, GERMANY - APR 22, 2015
22oz bomber. Dark golden color with one finger head. Tropical fruit and pine aroma. Easy drinking and an IPA where I can easily finish the bomber. Dogbrick (14389) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - MAR 24, 2015
On draught at Simmzy’s. Pours a clear golden color with a medium bright white head that dissipates steadily to a film. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Citrus, hops and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of citrusy hops, pine and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a grapefruit and hops aftertaste. May have suffered a bit from trying right after Pliny but still a solid IPA.
