On tap at Scratch in Mountain View, CA. Tropical fruits / Pineapple on the nose. Taste is refreshing with big bitter notes while being completely balanced. Drank this with some fancy ass flatbread pizza. Za-zing! Zymurgeist2 (2492) - Redwood City, California, USA - MAR 20, 2015
Aroma is predominantly pine and resin. Slight citrus and lemon. Orange and clear with a full white head that retains well. Juicy and resiny pine flavor with a moderate amount of bitterness. Doughy malt adds significant support to the hops. arondee (601) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - MAR 14, 2015
Pours a golden yellow color with a nice sticky white head. Aroma is citrusy hops, honey, and earthy. The taste is medium bodied, not too bitter, some honey malts, citrusy hops. Very good IPA. TheAlum (7164) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - MAR 3, 2015
Draft on tap at Aces and Ales Tenaya (Las Vegas, NV). Pours a darker deep orange amber hue, decent hazy body with with a dulled deep orange glow, a bit fiery with frothy offwhite head atop. A nice layer sticks around, decent lacing as a frothy filmy layer atop. Aromas are a bit juicy, firmer tropical hop slant punches quickly up front. Some florals, earth, bready malt and gentle grainy malts. Bigger bubblegum hops, Big League chew, mangos, watermelon and bready malts. Juicy, appealing, a touch sweet but you can tell it’s not from the malt elements. Initial is lighter end of the fold, some decent sharper floral and metallic twangy bitterness enlightens the palate with florals, earth, and gentle bready malts, some straw. A firmer hop presence presides over a mellow malt base. That juicy rich hop nose depletes a bit, the body is more mellow, well attenuated with a distinct bitterness, gentle warmth hitting the palate into the backend. Some earthiness, florals, gentle citric juice and rind elements waft in and out. Finish is dry, a bit floral and bitter with some resiny elements, dry grainy and bready malts taper off. Clean, bitter and a touch of warmth hit the palate. Solid stuff. I think the nose on this thing is luscious and indicative of that neat hop usage. This beer offers some more trendy hops, more bitterness overall but loses some of that character in the beer at times. Pretty nice, fresh offering here. SG111 (2200) - New York, USA - FEB 21, 2015

22 oz Bottle. Tasted on 2/12/15. Bottle from Holiday Wine Cellar. This one had a definitive west coast aroma with tons of citrus & pine. Great flavor that was balanced with just enough malt but not too much. Overall a very nice IPA.

Surprised by this one. The crisp bitterness of this IPA is far greater than the advertised 68 IBU. Nice citrus aromas of pine and grapefruit as well. Also surprising was that it packed more of a punch than the advertised 6.5 ABV. A very nice offering. Will surely revisit the "Betty". pchoate (27) - West Sacramento, California, USA - FEB 8, 2015
Like drinking a pine - sharp and clean, plenty of citrus. Great find. Delicious.

Burnished gold color with a frothy off white head. Bright citrus hop nose. Caramel sweetness with strong bready tones dripping with juicy grapefruit, bitter orange and stone fruit flavors. Long, pinching hop finish. Really nice hop head beer. OliverJ1990 (11) - - JAN 30, 2015
Unassuming label. It will take you by surprise! Great taste, definitely some intense bitterness units going on in this beer. Hoppy as heck; if you like IPAs, you’ll like this beer- I’d drink the 22 fluid oz. if you like good beer
