COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Say hello to Betty IPA! She’s an American IPA boasting a blend of Mosaic, Citra, Simcoe and Centennial hops, and starting in March she’ll be the first new beer to join our year-round lineup in over 3 years! We spent 8 months perfecting this hop blend, and we love the huge range of juicy aromas and flavors we were able to hit: tropical fruit, citrus zest, berries, stone fruit and pine are all packed in, soaring over a base of pleasant bitterness and drinkable 6.5% ABV.

With Betty we had one goal: brew the modern, American IPA that we’d want to drink ourselves, every day. Each time you drank a batch of Experimental IPA in our Tasting Room you helped us build this beer, and we can’t wait for you to meet Betty.

Bottle in Cali. I've enjoyed hangar 24 starting to move out to AZ so I don't have to only have it in Cali. Had this for first time victorville grocery 6r. Good solid fresh tyre to hangar 24 start. Pine hits hops. Then burst of cool citrus. Lingers too much grapefruit. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On draft at Tap 25. It pours a light orange color with a white head. The aroma is strong with orange and lighter notes of grapefruit and mango. The flavor is spicy and floral with more orange and grapefruit. Lightly bready malt background. It has a very spicy bitter finish. Nice one.

Awesome IPA. Wow. Cloudy orange pour from draft at west 4th and jane in Santa Monica. Bursts with tropical citrus fruity happiness. Perfect hop and bitter balance. Delicious.

On tap at Anthill Pub. Crisp aroma of light cereal malt. Hazy medium yellow with a white head. Very piney bitterness with a green leaf freshness. Just enough light malt sweetness to balance the bitterness. Lasting earthy bitterness left on the tongue. Tasty, bitter IPA.

From a tap at the brewery. The pour is a dark orange with a white minimum head. The IPA has a spruce melon like hop profile with a acidic aftertaste. Medium body

12 oz bottle, enjoyed shortly after release. Yellow to orange color, cloudy. Off white, rocky/uneven head. Aroma’s of resin, pine and citrus. Retronasal there’s resin, pine, some citrussy acidity and light skunk. Flavor is moderate bitter with hints of fruity/citrussy sourness. Medium bodied. Finishes slightly dry, somewhat maltyt and rather bitter. Nice and refreshing on a hot California day.

Keg at Commons Ale House, Santa Monica, 16/04/14 - a whole 12 oz of this bastard before I clocked tasting flights were available @wasted rates !!! Lightly hazed golden with a moderate off white covering. Nose is bitter hops, pine, mandarin, toasted malt, grapefruit, grassy. Taste comprises grapefruit, orange pith, toasted malt, light pine. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, hop bitterness in the close. Solid enough IPA, could have picked worse for such a HUUGE pour!

Pours a golden orange with anime finger off white head with nice lacing. Aroma is of citrus, pine, tropical fruits, stone fruits, grassy hops, light bready malts, and some light pile malt. Taste is pretty similar to the aroma. Has a medium body with a semi creamy mouthfeel and a semi dry, moderately bitter, medium-long finish. Overall, a pretty soild ipa that is pretty drinkable for the style.
