Bottle from Whole Foods, San Diego. Hazy golden/orange beer with a beautiful ladting offwhite/ yellowish head. Hoppy fruity aroma, grapes, pine apples, caramel, cream, floral notes. Hoppy fruity flavor, grassy, pine apples, citrus, caramel, biscuits, some peach. Hoppy fruity caramel finish. Aubrey (3516) - Bellingham, Washington, USA - MAR 4, 2014
Bold and zingy IPA with snappy citrus and a grassy bitterness. More malt-forward (and sticky) than I like, but it did help to balance out the aggressive hops. johnbuck100 (306) - Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 7, 2014
22 oz bomber with no sell by date, which bums me out. i do not understand why a brewer of an IPA this good would not put a bottled on or a sell by date. This is especially important because I thought the bomber I had was past its prime. I still noticed a nice clear citrusy hop flavor, but there is a slightly "off" earthy, cheesy note that I believe indicates the bottle sat around too long. I would love to travel to the brewery and have this on tap. I will re-rate if i can. mrhoppy (1288) - Santa Clara, California, USA - JAN 17, 2014
Great IPA! IPA’s are so prevalent now it’s like they are just regular beer now. This one is pretty awesome. Uber clear, beautifully bright, ruddy copper pour. Gigantic seafoam head with exquisite lacing. Fresh tangerines and caramel malt are dominant in the aroma. Nice nuances of grapefruit and lime zest also show up in the appropriately bitter flavor. Definitely hops forward, but skillfully balanced by plenty of malty goodness. Medium body, great carb, superb mouthfeel, and a wonderfully dry finish. I am reminded of a honey-glazed orange/grapefruit upside-down cake garnished with lime leaves. Fantastic IPA. Hopman1 (32) - apple valley, California, USA - JAN 11, 2014
This beer is enjoyable , I have not found one that I can actually say I did not like , you have to be open to all flavors and there distinction. This beer is citrusy and moderately hoppy it does not punch you in the face with that intense hop flavor but you certainly know its there. Its very bubbly in the front then resin pops thru the middle with a little light bitter in the back end kind of like chewing on grapefruit rind , not bad for those of us who enjoy a little bitter.

Pretty hoppy and, as the description says, high on the citrus scale. Head vanished quickly and carbonation felt a little light. Still tasted great. Pretty hoppy, dry finish. Nice beer that showcases the Columbus hops. swoopjones (7020) - Buffalo, New York, USA - OCT 5, 2013

Bottle. IPA with some pretty strong hop character. Bitter, a little malty, and rounded out with some citrus. Good beer. marcus (10227) - Sacramento, California, USA - SEP 1, 2013
Bottle shared by beerboxer. Pours amber with a nice beige head and a citrus aroma. There is a full-bodied caramel malt flavor with a nicely bitter finish. beerbastard (844) - Mesa, Arizona, USA - AUG 30, 2013
22oz. bottle, amber orange pour, slight lace. Grassy and pepper like nose. Thin malts allow the hop flavors to dominate with pine, spices, and some orange. Strong bitterness with a clean dry finish.
