Pours honey root beer brown with some thick suds on top. Aroma is peppery orange peels and some high octane ethyl acetate. Medium bodied and very balanced. Flavors of roasty, bread crust and solventy bitterness. Finish is mellow with a lingering bitterness and hints of melon. cpetrone84 (1810) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 9, 2012
pour is a cloudy copper orange with large bubbles in a light tan head. Nose is biscuit malt, rye and caramel with piney bitter hops behind. Taste follows suit but a more expressive hop sensation adds to the finish and short lingering bitterness along with a smooth body and soft carbonation make it fall down the throat quite easily. Also light notes of citric acid in back behind the cascading malt forefront. Iphonephan (7000) - Jackson Hole/McLean, Virginia, USA - OCT 5, 2012
On tap at mohawk bend LA. Pours a medium gold with a white head. Floral citrus aroma. Grapefruit zest - bitter but not overpowering. A nice IPA. bwa5879 (945) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - OCT 3, 2012
Hazy brownish orange pour. Thick offwhite head, half inch thick, lots of thick lacing on the glass. Typical piney citrus scent that’s a little grassy. Great medium body. Sharp citrus taste, mostly pine like and a bit salty. Finish is slightly dry and crisp, bright alcohol flavor as well. knewell (73) - Alabama, USA - OCT 3, 2012
pours a dirty golden color. Has an aroma of citrus and hops. Taste follows the aroma. Has strong notes of hops and citrus that remind me of a grapefruit. Leaves somes bitterness on the palate after the swallow. Overall, not to bad for an ipa.

Bottle from Kasey! Pours deep orange and approaching amber. Head is medium but quickly fades to a film. Nose is floral and contains an abundance of spicy and citrus hops mild supporting malt and possibly caramel malt aroma. Flavor is medium citrus tones with floral, spicy, light resinous, and bitter fruit rind flavors again supported with some bready and light caramel malts. Finishes medium dry with some pronounced bitterness. Nice beer but if I were to complain would have asked for more intense hop aroma. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - SEP 29, 2012
Bottle:   Orangish caramel, thick and hazy, moderate to large frothy white head, sticky lacing.   Citrus oriented hop nose, slightly sweet, slightly bitter.   Moreso bitter on the tongue, a little rind and pith.   Not terribly bitter, thankfully enough maltiness to balance it out.   Well balanced, smooth, and flavorful.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Pithy finish.   Not a big IPA, but fairly well balanced with some moderate bitterness.   Thanks Ron for the bottle! awesome dark orange. I love this color in an IPA. Nose is piney citrus, but not abrasive. The aroma carries into the taste as well, think pine lemon, and then bitters out on the back of the palette. A nice single hop IPA

Fresh bottle shared by Darrell. Thanks mang.
The beer is copper orange and hazy with a half inch of soapy white head. The aroma does indeed bring a nice bouquet of hops. A touch of biscuits with a healthy bitterness in the finish. Decent flavor. Nothing wrong with this beer, but not anything to get excited about either.

A seemingly super-fresh bottle from StefanSD. Thanks! Uber clear, beautifully bright, ruddy copper pour. Gigantic seafoam head with exquisite lacing. Fresh tangerines and caramel malt are dominant in the aroma. Nice nuances of grapefruit and lime zest also show up in the appropriately bitter flavor. Definitely hops forward, but skillfully balanced by plenty of malty goodness. Medium body, great carb, superb mouthfeel, and a wonderfully dry finish. I am reminded of a honey-glazed orange/grapefruit upside-down cake garnished with lime leaves. Fantastic IPA.
