3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pretty hoppy and, as the description says, high on the citrus scale. Head vanished quickly and carbonation felt a little light. Still tasted great. Pretty hoppy, dry finish. Nice beer that showcases the Columbus hops.
On draft. Copper color with almost no head. Citrus aroma. Citrus and earthy taste. It’s pretty good. GarrettB (1692) - San Diego, California, USA - OCT 18, 2014
February 24th, 2013 - I absolutely love Hangar 24’s labels, which harken back to a period of incredible industrial achievement and progress centered in California - aeronautics in the sunny, orange fields of California. It’s such a captivating image that Disney Imagineers have taken it for their own, dotting California Adventure Park and even Tomorrowland with references to the collective genius that progressed air flight. Hangar has done well to take this image for their beers, but good label art deserves a beer to match. Today I test the Columbus IPA’s worthiness. Out of the bottle and the nice wrapping, it’s a murkier brown color, sunk under a light tan head, about a centimeter or two. A light but fresh scent of pine wafts from the foam, with the added touch of cinnamon sticks and light brown sugar, but overall very effete and ethereal. Likewise subtle is the flavor, with a good, hopped amber touch. The sugar is stronger here too, amplifying the cinnamon and sugar from the nose, adding a hoppy edge, and keeping low on the carbonation, producing a tasty, easy to drink beer that I’d say is definitely worthy of the label. 22 Fl OZ ($6.99) pretty good IPA, has a good bite to it, not a palate coater. good IPA if you’re not an IPA drinker. pretty decent at 7% abv. I liked it and I think you will like it too. MRodgers1982 (111) - USA - SEP 28, 2014
Not much going on. No real frsh hop aroma. Pretty cloudy. Just grapefruit hoppyness but nothing much else. Lean palate as well. Better out there. SlimHabib (484) - Redondo Beach, California, USA - SEP 11, 2014
Bottle pour. Cloudy copper orange with large white foamy head. Lightly malty aroma with citrus hops. Medium body. Small citrus taste that had a sharp but light bitter hop aftertaste.

Pours a hazy orange with a 1.5 finger head. Nice floral and citrus notes on the nose. Flavor matches aroma, and a bit of malty sweetness. Good IPA if you aren’t into overly bitter beers. beerbaaron (1997) - Arizona, USA - AUG 14, 2014
Draft. Cloudy dark amber. Small white head. Medium body. Pretty high bitterness. Pretty densely hopped. Resin. Rind. Kinda overboard, not super drinkable. Defreni (3325) - Husum, DENMARK - JUL 28, 2014
Bottle. Pours amber orange with a white head. Sweet malty base, with some fruity citric hops and moderate bitterness. Balanced and drinkable, but nothing too special. UDBeernut (2883) - Saint Johns, Florida, USA - JUN 11, 2014
bomber pours orange amber, thin off white head whom’s lacing completely covers my cheater pint. Nose is subtle of citrus, some malt. Taste begins with light gentle malt sweetness. This is lightly washed away by some bitterness, oranges, tangerine. body is light to medium. Overall all pretty decent, a nice change of pace from some of the normal face melting bitter bombs.
