UPDATED: OCT 16, 2017 Brewed by Hanger 24, Highway 111 is a lime gose using California limes.
The air of this beer has a nice lime aroma as you take a drink. The grain texture of wheat is noted in the mouthfeel. At 4.7% abv, this is a light and refreshing libation.
Lime has a very pleasing complexion. As soon as you hear of lime and beer, we think of Corona with its lime. How Hangar 24 makes their lime different is the addition of salt. The salt is fair and provides an accent to the take. A hint of sour accompanies the salt.
Highway 111 is heavenly. Kettle-soured, the sour presence is overlooked because the lime flavor captures your attention. This beer is scrumptious and makes me want another as soon as I am done with the one I am working on. The only thing left is how often Hangar 24 will keep Highway 111 supplied.
Cheers. Prost. Drink for the love of beer.

$1.50 taster at BeerNV. Light yellow pour. Aromatic lime and salt - a little margarita like with a light palate. Flavor matches the nose - really nice summer refresher that hit the spot on a 93 degree day. JoeTheYounger (1195) - Lake Arrowhead, California, USA - MAY 16, 2016
On tap in the special release section of the H24 8th Anniversary AirFest. Super refreshing with lots of fresh lime present followed by a nice tartness. Very easy to drink on a hot day but the $7 for 8oz was a bit hefty. This should have been a 16oz pour.
