Mahogany colored pour with a khaki head. Really heavy cinnamon sugar and ginger aromas. Some sweet brown sugar, toffee, and toast. A light roasted quality, some nutmeg, and roasted malts. The flavor is also very heavy on the cinnamon qualities. A lot of brown sugar, some nutmeg, plenty of all spice, hints of roast and chocolate, and a light ginger bite on the finish. Bomber from Bine & Vine. Pours dark brown with ruddy glints and a creamy tan head. Aroma is primarily pie spice. Med body. Flavor is chocolate, dark malt and pie spice. Might be a veg hint. Tap at Public House - Temecula. Pours black with a medium, frothy beige head, short retention with good lacing. Aroma is nutmeg, cinnamon, and vanilla, and toast malt. Surprisingly tasty and unique beer well crafted from this brewery. A good balance of porter, pumpkin spices, and molasses. Yes, better than it sounds. Lovely spice comes through. Light orange with a lasting head. Very smooth mouthfeel, full drinkable experience.

I’m never sure when a beer is going to fall into the spiced beer category or it’s base beer style. This is as spiced as any beer but classed as it’s base, a strong porter. Pretty nice job with the pumpkin and spices, as expected from this brewer. Light roast and chocolate, moderate levels of pie spice and pumpkin. Bottle at jtclockwork’s place for a tasting. Pours a mostly clear brown with a thin beige head. Big spicy gingerbread on the nose, roast and a bit of bakers cocoa. Medium bodied, spicy malt and toast, pie spices, warm roast and malt. A bit of alcohol peeks through. Chocolate and cocoa linger over pie spices into the finish. On tap at Capitol Beer, Sacramento. Pours dark brown with a thick tan head and a pumpkin an treacle aroma. There is a very spicy complex flavor that includes chocolate, pumpkin, cinnamon and dark molasses.
