I like cool whip on my pumpkin pie. This has the pumpkin the crust and the cool whip. Great nutmeg aroma. Sweet maltiness. Nice mouthfeel. Why didn't I buy another bottle.

Tap at Bruery Provisions. Nice dark pour, creamy head. Loaded with chocolate, pumpkin and spice with a good backbone of roast in the nose. Creamy and delicious flavor, good cocoa notes, pumpkin pie spices. Loved it. boozedude (2228) - Des Moines, Iowa, USA - SEP 3, 2013

From a tap at H24,it’s a dark ruby red in the sunlight, molasses and chocolate, and cinnamon are the strongest notes.I won’t be surprise if this becomes a yearly seasonal bottle beer. mexicelt (14) - - OCT 13, 2012
On tap at H24. Dark ruby red color. Deep cinnamon aroma with some roasted chocolates and pumpkin scents. Tastes of dark chocolate, strong cinnamon maybe some allspice, thick molasses malts. Cinnamon and coffee linger on the palate. Excellent brew. Definitely a great way to get into the fall months. Hope this one is around for years to come

Wow. This might be the best porter I have ever had. It's spicy, cinnamon, with massive yam flavor. It's so unique, but in a way where I wish this was more common. I LOVE this. Going back to boring pumpkin ales will be awful. kevinsenn (2212) - Waterloo, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 16, 2015
On tap at Stein’s Beer Garden. Rich pumpkin and spice aroma. I notice the body before the taste: super smooth and rich. Taste is rich (yes, this is beer is rich) with pumpkin, light spice, and sweet malts. Not as sweet as one might expect overall. Very good. badlizard (5533) - Berkeley, California, USA - OCT 29, 2011
Black with a creamy tan head. Chocolate pumpkin and cinnamon and nutmeg aroma and taste with a silky yet creamy palate and a toasty finish. ADfan (870) - Orange County, California, USA - OCT 21, 2012
On tap at Beachwood BBQ it is almost black in the glass with a small head. Aroma of nutmeg, spice and pumpkin. The taste has dark malts, pumpkin and some chocolate. Rich compared to most pumpkin beers. Picked up a bomber to enjoy at home. skmikeg (1826) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 31, 2012
UPDATED: NOV 25, 2012 Pours a near pitch black with a small tan head. Aroma is of roasted malts, pumpkin, dark coco, spices, and some molasses. Taste is similar with roasted malts, pumpkin, allspice, cloves, ginger, dark coco, molasses, and some caramel malts. Has a medium body with semi creamy body with a semi dry, roasty finish. Overall, a tasty pumpkin porter that would be great with Thanksgiving dessert.
