Amber pour. Aroma is spruce and pine. Rich caramel body, light maple syrup but strong spruce tree, now maple would really help this but it’s not too bad on a cold rainy day. slowrunner77 (12037) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 11, 2014
"A winter warmer had on a June evening, but it still hit the spot. It had it faults, but was still very nice. Mahogony pour, good body but the abv doesn’t show at all. Intense aroma of spruce and cinnamon. Similar flavor with a rich malty backbone. I’d have loved to trade a little of the cinnamon spice for more maple, as it was barely noticeable, but otherwise a GREAT beer."

Amber pour, small off white head. I get cinnamon, caramel, hops and light spice. What lacks is the maple. And the bitter finish I didn’t expect and didn’t love. Not a poorly crafted beer at all, but this just doesn’t quite hit the spot for me. djd07 (14469) - Houston, Texas, USA - MAR 20, 2014
Bottle. Pours a cloudy amber orange with thick white head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is caramel, spice, and fruit. Medium mouthfeel with strong caramel and sweet fruit. maddmatt639 (331) - Pacifica, California, USA - FEB 19, 2014
No retention and no lacing. Smells of maple syrup, cinnamon and brown sugar. Tastes of maple, roasted malt and spices. Especially cinnamon. Very slight bitterness.

Bottle from Total Wine, Sacramento. Pours dark brown with a large beige head and a brown malt and maple aroma. There is a medium-bodied roasted malt flavor with a hint of syrup and some spices. bhensonb (15188) - Woodland, California, USA - FEB 9, 2014
Bomber from Total Wine - Sacramento. Pours hazy copper with a slight beige head. Warm, moderately dark fruits aromas. Near full bodied. Flavor is cinnamon, maple, fresh something. Maybe fresh light stone fruit. Might be a hint of twiginess. Pretty nice drink. Finishes "fresh" - not exactly bitter, not exactly sweet. Sort of nice fresh fruit. baraciisch (3232) - California, USA - JAN 12, 2014
Dark brownish red in color... Aroma of caramel, herbal, vegetable and cinnamon spice notes... Flavor is caramel, nuts and heavily spiced with notes of maple syrup, spruce tips, herbs... Really solid

Lightly hazy amber beer with a small off white head. Light crispy palate. Mild sweet creamy malt. Minerals. Light pine and spruce sweetness. Mild maple and a whisper of cinnamon. Smooth semi dry finish with fresh light malt cream. Nicely judged!
22oz bomber pours with a clear amber body with copper hues and supporting a light tan head of foam. The aroma is very spruce and coriander like with sharp maple notes in the background. The taste is full of spruce and coriander like spices and yeasty spices followed up by sweet malts and a bit of sweet maple syrup.
