Bottle... Pours hazy and burnt-orange with a small, creamy, off-white head. The aroma features toffee, toasted tree nuts, caramel, a vinous note of port and a trace of bread dough. Full-bodied with modest carbonation. Lightly sweet, nutty flavor and lightly bitter finish. Very nice. Bottle courtesy of richiesd! LtDan (1806) - Los Angeles County, California, USA - JAN 29, 2010
Appearance: Pours a murky dark copper with no real head to speak of.
Aroma: Sweet, fruity malt.
Taste: Sweet cinnamon, spruce, caramel and booze.
Mouthfeel: Slightly syrupy.
Overall: After a pint, my reaction in Guy Fieri fashion was "MONEY." A real tasty kick in the ass. badlizard (5533) - Berkeley, California, USA - DEC 1, 2011
On tap at brewery. Nice chestnut brown with a fizzy off white head. Spruce and molasses up front in the aroma. Tastes of cinnamon, spruce, and molasses with a bready roasted barley backbone. skmikeg (1826) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 23, 2012
Pours a nice deep chestnut brown with a small off white head which fades to some lacing. Aroma is of toasted sweet malts, caramel, molasses, cinnamon, some pine, and some fruits. Taste is similar with sweet caramel malts, molasses, maple syrup, cinnamon, spruce, and some ripe fruits. Has a medium-full body with a slightly syrupy, but still slightly creamy mouthfeel, and a sweet, ever so slightly bitter finish. Overall, a pretty nice winter warmer. 22oz bomber pours with a clear amber body with copper hues and supporting a light tan head of foam. The aroma is very spruce and coriander like with sharp maple notes in the background. The taste is full of spruce and coriander like spices and yeasty spices followed up by sweet malts and a bit of sweet maple syrup.

Lightly hazy amber beer with a small off white head. Light crispy palate. Mild sweet creamy malt. Minerals. Light pine and spruce sweetness. Mild maple and a whisper of cinnamon. Smooth semi dry finish with fresh light malt cream. Nicely judged!
Dark brownish red in color... Aroma of caramel, herbal, vegetable and cinnamon spice notes... Flavor is caramel, nuts and heavily spiced with notes of maple syrup, spruce tips, herbs... Really solid

Sampled on 1/2/2015. This spiced beer pours a deep copper color from a 22oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head, with decent retention and nice lacing. The aroma is malty and sweet, with some spruce/pine and cinnamon. A medium bodied spiced ale. The malts are caramel and fruity. The hops are herbal and earthy. Decent carbonation. There is a little too much cinnamon and not enough maple for my tastes, but it is a nice sipping beer. Nice beer for a cold winter evening. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet. BOLTZ7555 (3027) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - JAN 14, 2015
A nice spiced winter warmer with hints of maple, spicy cinnamon sticks, evergreen, toffee, and brown sugar. Nothing extremely memorable but undoubtedly enjoyable. Dogbrick (13010) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - AUG 25, 2015
Sample at the taproom. Cloudy orange-amber color with a medium bone white head that recedes gradually. Small patches of lace. Aroma of malt, caramel and cinnamon. Medium body with a sweet caramel malt and cinnamon flavor, with subtle woody character. The finish is malty with a sweet cinnamon maple aftertaste. Above average overall.
