ORANGE WHEAT Crisp, Tart, and Refreshing. Whole locally grown oranges added throughout the brewing process perfectly compliment this unfiltered wheat and barley based beer. Our oranges are purchased through the Old Grove Orange company (affiliate of the non-profit Inland Orange Conservancy) whose main objectives are to save the local orange trees from disappearing, spread the word about the local citrus growing heritage, and to feed the hungry with the unutilized oranges. Please visit them at www.inlandorange.org. All we need to do to save the orange trees is to eat locally grown oranges!

Zymurgeist2 (2246) - Redwood City, California, USA - APR 3, 2014
On tap at Harry’s Hofbrua. Pours a golden-orange that is hazy with a full white head. Taste and flavor are both full of citrus - not surprisingly, focused on orange. Refreshing but unspectacular.

BlackHaddock (7329) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - MAR 15, 2014
Draught at The Cliff, Laguna Beach on 12th March 2014. Hazy orange with white head, orange segment stuck into the glass. This is truly orange in both aroma and taste, fairly sweet too. Ideal refreshment on a warm sunny afternoon, but not really the sort of beer I normally go for when in drinking mood.

RedSox2004 (1895) - Pacific Palisades, California, USA - FEB 22, 2014
Hazy straw yellow with a slight head and moderate lace. Aromas of wheat, malt, orange peel. Flavors are similar, with wheaty grain and orange most prominent. Light body, lively carbonation, prickly mouthfeel, and a crisp finish.

OD40oz (774) - Box Elder, South Dakota, USA - FEB 8, 2014
Had a pitcher of this with my cousin in California. Really good clean wheat taste with a hint of citrus. Hazy orange with a white head. Very good brew.

baraciisch (3234) - California, USA - JAN 25, 2014
Hazy orange color... Aroma of light wheat malts, orange zest... Flavor is wheat malts, orange notes, not much else going on... Kind of boring ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

IrishBoy (4199) - Bakersfield, California, USA - JAN 14, 2014
Bomber from Winco, Bakersfield. Nose is citrusy orange zest and some light bready wheat. Hazy yellow with a big pale yellow head. Flavor is a little orange, a little bitter, and some flour paste.

o_Merlin_o (225) - San Diego, California, USA - DEC 1, 2013
Pours a hazy, milky yellow color with a giant foamy white head. Huge lacing. Aromas of oranges and lemons. Definite orange flavoring, with a metallic palate which almost bites your tongue. The aftertaste falls pretty flat, though. Disappointing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

coreyc1221 (319) - Truckee, California, USA - NOV 12, 2013
Light lemon and hay aroma.super hazy light golden in color with thin white head. Zesty start with slight funk aftertaste. A little creamy in texture. Not bad. Not great.

DruncanVeasey (8226) - NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - NOV 6, 2013
Pint (with non-optional orange slice), pizza place in Campbell, CA, 28/10/13. Typical tall-foamed translucent looks. Nose sharp yeasty citrus. Peppery, vomit-streaked yeast; brittle lemon barley, parsley suggestions, Tunnel (of Nuneaton)-like sour yeast. Soggy lemon puff biscuit finish. Predictably dull.

sitzds (318) - - OCT 20, 2013
Review from memory. On tap at Naja’s Place, Redondo Beach. Hazy gold color with white head that vanished quickly. Aroma of orange, wheat malt, doughy yeast, spice. Flavors follow the nose with less orange/more lemon citrus notes. Moderate sweetness. Crisp, light body, wet, refreshing.
