Growler fill shared by Brandon. Hazy brown pour. Taste is dark sweet sugars and dominant Belgian yeast. Just ok.
On tap at GABF 2012. Fun to taste the homebrew as well during their Pro-Am Comp. Pours with a murky deep amber hued body and an off-white head. Aromas are yeasty and nutty, plum, fruity, medium malty. Flavors are boozy, spicy and a bit phenolic. Leathery and fruity. Dry and very warming. Draft: Poured a brown with copper edge tones, the head was thin and bubbly. Aroma was dark fruits and sweet malts. Taste was a blend of toffee, dark fruits and malts. Left the palate very dry and longing for more.
