COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Spring! A time of renewal. Renew your taste buds with our “California style” Spring Beer, a unique fusion of a hoppy wheat beer brewed with a blended fermentation of Belgian and American yeast. Pours a hazy gold with a thick, white head. Floral hop aromas abound, complemented by the taste of tangy wheat and spicy Belgian yeast notes with a bitter, slightly sweet, bready finish. Additional Information: For our first Seasonal 4-pack, we decided to create something one of a kind. This beer was fermented in two separate batches, one using a traditional American Ale yeast and the other using a Belgian Wit yeast. The two finished beers were then blended to create an extra layer of complexity and flavor. We also used two new hop varieties: Bravo & Calypso. These hops add a wonderful tropical fruit and pear character to our CSB.

Tap at Jernigan’s. Read up on it before ordering and dug the blending of the two yeasts idea I’ve seen around a bit. Gives a nice odd balance that fits rather well together...sweetness and a dryness. Nice hop palate and extremely drinkable qualities make this something I’d love to get in a 6er for the summer!

Bottle from HH22. Hazy orange pour, decent little head. Nice nose on this... Hoppy, wheat notes with some hay-fresh grass. Taste is fresh cut grass, hay, wheat, little lemon zest, with a nice hop bite. Different and good. Medium body, light and refreshing. Quite drinkable: Overall: Good spring beer thanks tim!

Bottle from Total Wine, Sacramento. Pours cloudy amber with a decent beige head and a floral citrus aroma. There is a medium-bodied caramel malt flavor with some spice and a strange wheat finish. Quite unusual.

12 ounce thanks to Jose. Not exactly a wheat beer since it tastes like an IPA with big malty and caramel flavors. Dry finish. I don’t know how much the hops used here differ from the Columbus IPA. Feels like a similar beer.

Pours a golden orange with a thin off white head which fades to thin, soapy lacing. Aroma is of light snd is Belgian yeast, citrus, and bready wheat bread. Taste is more robust then the aroma and is of belgian yeast, citrus, cloves, banana, spices, baked bread, apricots, wheat, and mild hop bitterness. Has a medium body with a semi creamy mouthfeel and a dry, slighty bitter, refreshing finish. Overall, a pretty tasty and drinkable spring sessional then seem like a hybrid between pale ale and a Belgian wheat ale.
