COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our fall seasonal is an ode to the brewing traditions of Germany. This amber lager is brewed in true Reinheitsgebot fashion using the finest imported German Malt, German Hops and German Yeast. Incredibly clean and balanced, this lager has a wonderful malty backbone and a hint of earthy hops. Traditionally released in early fall, this beer will make you want to stand up and sing "Ein Prosit!" Additional Information: The Oktoberfest in Munich started in 1810 as a celebration of the wedding of Crown Prince Ludwig and Princess Therese. The festival was such a hit that it turned into an annual event celebrated for 16 days from late September to early October. Oktoberfest beer comes from the Marzen style. These beers were bigger, richer beers brewed in March and stored in caves during the hot months of summer. In the fall, they were enjoyed at the Oktoberfest celebration.

A pretty nice rendition of the style. Aroma is malt driven, light bread and honey. The color and palate are light, but the flavor comes through a little more with a touch of extra richness.

24 oz sample on tap at The Burger Saloon in Woodland. Aroma has some sweet toffee and caramel. Lightly metallic, too. Transparent copper-Orange body with a small, cream-colored head. Starts with a moderately sweet, nutty, and husky maltiness. Light metallic twang in the middle . Finishes a little herbal, and slightly dry. Not shabby.

12 oz. bottle. It pours a nice orange color with an off white head. The aroma is very pleasant with dry, toasty bread and light Munich malt derived plum fruit. The flavor is the same. Dry and toasty with a decent dose of earthy bitterness. Very malty yet dry. Smooth full bodied with a snappy finish. Great Oktoberfest.

This is a really good Oktoberfest. Malty and grassy, yet with just the right amount of sweetness. A filling beer, but quite right for the season. A cloudy-ish orange color.

Bottle from BevMo. Slightly hazy amber in color. Nose is malty. Somewhat sweet with a bit of a fruity characteristic. Strong and bready up front. A touch of lingering sweetness. Full bodied. Light hop finish.

Vegas Total Wine bottle. First Hangar 24 beer and I must say I’m a fan. Good fest beer with caramel malt and some spice. Maybe a little "dusty" in the aroma. Pleasant.

Bottle: pours golden amber. White froth that fades fast. Medium carbonation. Malty aroma dominates. Clean and a little toasty. Medium to light medium palate weight. Medium sweet with low bitterness. Fresh malty palate. Nice clean flavour. Good length. Little influence from hops or yeast. Very refreshing..

Bottle from bhensonb. Pours copper with an attractive beige head and a toffee aroma. There is an earthy toffee and smoked malt flavor with a carbonated bitter finish.

UPDATED: SEP 21, 2013 Very nice and refreshing German Marzen style beer. I’m impressed with the , smoothness, and delicious flavor for a lighter beer style then I normally prefere to drink.
