Mother Kelly’s. Keg. Opaque dark brown beer, good tan head. Palate is airy and has a fine minerally crispness. Smooth brown malts, mildly tangy. Trace of coffee and cream. A whisper of roast on the slightly dry finish. Comes together well enough.
Bottle [from trade with GlasgowTAD] @ home. Thanks Tad! Finally a beer from the famous-by-Craigs-tweets-bar/brewery. Opaque dark brown to black color, medium to full sized light brown head that lasts for quite a while. Aroma is malts, quite roasty, iron, lightly ashy, a slight hint of smoke. Taste malts, quite roasty, iron, again a hint of smoke and moderately bitter. Don’t get any hops though. Suitable body and carbonation. Nice porter! spacecube (1822) - Leeds, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JUL 19, 2015
