As HBX Black. Pours dark brown head with light brown head. Tastes sweet bread malty with a similar finish. Finn (7547) - Tromsø, NORWAY - MAR 19, 2012
Fra kran på bryggeripuben 8 Mar 12. Dyp brun.
8/11/11/9/9/10

Bottle at DØE tasting Randers. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and light hopy aroma. Mold and nutty notes. Dry. Moderate very burnt flavor. Not that roasted or caramellic. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate. Strange beer and not very true to style. daniele (9219) - ITALY - AUG 24, 2011

Draft. A dark brown beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel as well as a lighter note of bread. The flavor is very sweet with strong notes of caramel, combined with medium notes of malt and bread, leading to a dry bready finish. omhper (25250) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - JUL 13, 2011

2 liter bügel bottle that I got for Christmas, BB Dec 29, 2010
Sampled on Dec 25, 2010
This one labeled 5.0% ABV
Clear daek brwon color, nice looking tan head, going to light brown. Sweet, malty, some banana esters, yeast, fresh, chocolate and coffee scent. Sweet, malty, chocolate, herbal bitter taste that finishes with a long roasted lingering coffee like tone. Very fresh and very nice. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bitterness.
It’s one of those beers when you’re thinking you need to get your ass to the brewpub to try it again, as well as their other beers. So I think I shall, in the next few days will visit the brewery for some more good beers, yay.
To finish off, if you go to Hanover, make sure to get this one, I’m sure you won’t be dissapointed.
Draught at the brewpub, on December 27, 2010
Wanted to sample this again when I visited the brewpub, just to make sure it was fresh.
