I believe this was a 0.33L bottle. The aroma was slightly grassy, with a bit of malt. Flavor had a surprising sweetness at the beginning, before settling back into a more typical pale lager profile. Overall it’s mainly memorable because it’s from Vietnam.
One of the few beers available in Vietnam, all of them Lagers, none of them exciting. Hanoi is among the better, but really nothing special. Cimbasso (1006) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 24, 2017
Bottle at a Vietnamese restaurant in London. Pale golden colour. Flavour is mainly malt with some metallic and boiled vegetable overtones. OK when served cold with spicy food, but not worth seeking out. LazyPyro (1588) - Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - MAY 9, 2017
330ml bottle. Clear pale golden yellow with a thin white head. Aroma: grainy malt. Taste: sweet malt, grains, syrup, slight chemical/metallic notes too. Light bodied, average carbonation. brez () - - MAY 3, 2017

(Bottle) Pale with little head. Brady aroma. Light body well carbonated. Not bland but not a great taste either. Corn and slight metallic bitterness. Drinkable.

Bia Ha Noi is certainly drinkable, but it is quite a coarse beer that does not satisfy and despite being a relatively experienced, consumer of Vietnamese beer, I simply cannot drink more than one can of this stuff. Sweet and bitter at the same time, it has a medium sized head on pouring and a meadow like smell with a long, dry, metallic after taste which is quite harsh. For some reason, this is one of the few Vietnamese beers that simply does not agree with me. Block (3183) - Indianapolis, Indiana, USA - AUG 8, 2016
A clean and refreshing beer which complemented spicy food very well. A light beer with a lager finish. Jimbo2 (554) - DENMARK - JUL 15, 2016
Fairly standard lager. Not much to write home about. Decent, some happiness. But drinkable. ramboraffe (2257) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAY 4, 2016
Bottle at Vietnamese restaurant in Berlin. Clear goden with white head. Sweet rather thick canned corn, butter and vegetables. Not a good beer. Semi sweet with low bitterness and medium carbonation. jmgreenuk (9984) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - MAY 1, 2016
Bottle at Beer 2KU, Hanoi. Poured a clear straw colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is light malt, light hop. The flavour is light bitter with a light watery cardboard yeast, hop bitter palate and a bubbly mouthfeel. Light bodied with lively carbonation.
