From old tasting notes. Labeled as "Hansa Dark Beer". Clear reddish brown color. Creamy tan head. Sweet roasted malt aroma, almost candy like. Nice roasted malt flavor with a sweet caramel backdrop and a note of tanginess. Light dryish finish with a touch of hops. Pretty tasty.

DerGantzel (410) - Aarhus, DENMARK - OCT 23, 2016
Aroma of caramel and malt with fruity notes. Reddish golden appearance with a fine white head. Medium-high sweetness and medium bitterness. Average carbonation, a bit watery texture.

Bottle. Beautiful copper color. Rather sweet and malty, but on the watery side. Definitely preferable to Norwegian lagers.

Clear brown with white head. Caramel, wine gum and light spicy. Sweet and dry finish. Overall: good!

2.2
metalspice (933) - Jevnaker, NORWAY - NOV 28, 2015
Mahognibrunt og klart med høyt skum. Lukten er veldig svak med noen toner av brent malt, vått gress og karamel. Smaken er mer fremtredende med de samme tonene. Tørr ettersmak som ikke er kledelig.

2.7
Nonshaugen (597) - Fetsund, NORWAY - NOV 16, 2015
50 cl can. Deep reddish amber, crystal clear, thin off-white to tan head. Aroma is dark malts and bread with some sweetness. Flavours of the same roastedness, caramel and brown sugar. High carbonation/hop bitterness level, a good bite to the tongue. A bit watery and thin, but refreshing. Nice product, given the fact that it’s a mass produced dark lager from a major brewery.
