Veldig bra juleøl. Er ingen Hansa fan, men dette ølet smaker himmelsk! Fantastisk juleøl, rett og slett. Mørkt, sterkt og god sødme, men ikke for mye.

0,5l can. Dark amber with off white head - sweet malt base and some bitterness, short finish - ok beer AnG_BrgNor (714) - Bergen, NORWAY - NOV 12, 2016
Can. Aroma is sweet caramalt, dried dark fruits and ome spices. Taste reflects the aroma, but its even more sweet. A bit to sweet for me. kokkenrolv (348) - Bergen, NORWAY - OCT 24, 2016
Bottle. Aroma is caramel, bread crust, hints of dried fruits. Dark bronze brown, clear, small off white head. Medium to heavy sweetness, taste is tones of wet grain, caramel, small hints of dried fruits. Medium body, average carbonation, medium long finish with heavy sweetness, but still a bit watery. To much sweetness, a bit out of balance. Karlsen (43) - Hønefoss, NORWAY - DEC 30, 2015
Rød brun farge. Søtlig aroma. Smak av karamell og brente mandler. Lett og veldig tam smak

Mahogany color, beige head. Brown sugar nose, ripe to dried fruit, metallic notes. Sweet malty taste, caramel, dried fruit, hint of bread. Light body, soft carbonation. Nonshaugen (613) - Fetsund, NORWAY - NOV 28, 2015
2015 edition, 50 cl can. Deep red-brown, two finger beige head, clear, no carbonation from the bottom, Nice lacing. Spicy, fruity sweet aroma. Nice mix of flavours, toffee in the middle, a bit metallic at the back. Mouthfeel is sweet, dry and a bit sticky. Carbonation is OK. May work well with any kind of food, but on its own it’s a bit dull and disappointing. ston3s42 (234) - - NOV 15, 2015
Dark purply brown appearance with some head that doesn’t last long. Tastes of sweet malt, caramel, bubblegum and some banana. Medium-light body, fine carbonation and a good finish of fruity caramel. Very good sweet dark Christmas lager BlackHaddock (7319) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - JUN 26, 2015
500ml can shared between four at the 24th June 2015 meeting of the Shrewsbury Bottle Exchange Group: cheers Mat for this and many others. Sadly for this beer it came either side of really interesting and strongly flavoured beers and this came across as a bit weak and bland. Red hue to the brown pour, a lightly tanned head sat on top. The nose was slightly spiced and malty with hints of sweetness to come. Taste wise it had an initial caramel sweet feel, then some wintery style spice flavourings before a mild bitter and drying finish. OK considering it’s location on the tasting list.
