Shag (3027) - Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA - SEP 4, 2011
This poured a bright red color with no head. The aroma is a bit off putting like someone baked a fresh cherry pie with some currants and then farted loudly after having eggs for breakfast. The flavor is sour with cherries and currants. Overall this was ok despite the smell of it.

Suttree (6466) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - AUG 28, 2011
Man, this is sour. I mean, really sour. So sour that you can’t really taste any fruit, just a lot of sour. sour. soo sour.

tronraner (2459) - Walland, Tennessee, USA - AUG 28, 2011
Sample at a tasting at Suttree’s. Pours bright purplish color with almost no head. The aroma is black currant, polyurethane, garlic, musty cheese, and farts (not the farmy funk; quite enteric and abrasive). The flavor is dry and fruity with a musty note and ample lactic sourness. Fortunately the flavor lacks the enteric quality that the nose does. A little bit of a let down.

brentfeesh (1208) - Mansfield, Ohio, USA - AUG 27, 2011
Pours the color of cherry wine, no head. Stinky socks and underware funk is the aroma if it smells like anything. It tastes ok. Light vinegar with sour fruit like cherry. But the lingering cheesey flavor is there. Light mouthfeel with a wetness that is strangely fitting for this foot like concoction.

asheft (3097) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 25, 2011
[bottle] Complex aroma of sour cherries and white grapes and wine, with dried fruit accents. Hazy purplish orange-garnet with a few white foam fibrils on top. Sour, mouth puckering, currant flavour accentuated by lotus root malt, watermelon, and a little vinegary pickle juice. Dry and vinous with a tingly sweet tang on the lips. Light body, low carbonation, sour finish quickly dissipates to faint malt.

mixmasterob (1058) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - AUG 24, 2011
Bottle from Green’s. Pretty, murky rose colored pour. Absolutely no carbonation, still, lifeless. Aroma was full of sour fruit, funky. Flavors were big tart, sour, light fruit, musty. Mouthfeel was lifeless, still. Still managed not to be watery thin, had some substance. Decent.

Butters (4059) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - JUL 31, 2011
Beautiful clear pinkish red with no head. Tart stinky feet nose. Flavor is Tart acidity and blackberry/currants fruitiness. Good tangy.

patrickfannon (1241) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 29, 2011
Bottle. 12.7 oz. Split with Sean for his 22nd Birthday. Night age; sipped both before and after aging. (Air Riff, Annie). Blushy pink pour with a reflective, headless body. Aroma of savory cheese, musty barnyard funk, slight plastic/Sharpie marker notes, and just a hint of the currants, with some plum and cherry as well. Medium bodied with a cuttingly sour, almost balsamic palate. High, dry, and full-on sour in the finish. Very good lambic; well balanced and enjoyable to sip.

HonusWagner (2208) - Florida, USA - JUL 10, 2011
Not a huge fan. Dull and lifeless body, but not even in an interesting way. Nose has some good fruity qualities but they are somewhat lost in the flavor. Thankfully it’s not overwhelming with the acetic acid like some bottles I’ve tried, but I cannot really say this is all that special.

badnewsbeers (2312) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - JUN 24, 2011
bright cherry red from bottle. no head. aroma of huge sour funk, must, cherry pit and berry skin...huge aroma...huge sourness. slightly flat body gives rise to big currant, cherry, raspberry, sourness, and vinegar. very sour...could use a bit more carbonation...huge oaky finish...intense and nice
