375 ml corked and caged bottle via clarkvv. Thanks! The beer is still, and pours a clewr gold color. The aroma is really more like a mead. It smells like papery honey with some notes of we wood and musty, earthy berries. The taste is very sweet. It seems like the mead killed any acidity that the gueuze may have had. Zero sourness comes through, which surprised me quite a bit. Slick mouthfeel. This beer is like drinking a lower abv mead. Odd, not what I expected at all. Glad I got to try it, though. 2007 bottle at Sub Zero neepsntatties (1988) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JAN 17, 2015
Moldy cork, poured cloudy golden small white head, some lacing. Aroma of sawdust, woody and vanilla. Taste of vanilla, malty, cheese and honey with a dry finish
Bottle from Sub Zero in Anchorage. Colour...hazy dark gold with a thick white head. Nose....cheesy! But with sweet spices and baked butternut squash infused with turbinado. Palate...tangy, funky and musty with dry notes and Camembert, Edam and havarti. In other words, very cheesy! There’s some grapiness and a general vinous character and the finish is long and tart. douglas88 (9180) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JAN 17, 2015
Bottle at sub zero. Huge moldy cork. Pours a clear orange color with a large white head. A wonderful fruity woody vanilla nose. Rich honey, wood, mushrooms, lemons, zesty. Awesome. yiannnos (1254) - , CYPRUS - NOV 18, 2014
Aged for ?? years. Shared with greenclansman. A nice sour gueze with some mead qualities.

Light yellow color. Nice sour aromas. Taste of wood, grapes, with a sour and sweet honey aftertaste. Nice beer. Alengrin (5369) - BELGIUM - SEP 6, 2014
Blend of Hanssens Oude Gueuze with an English mead, intended for export but not produced anymore today. Off-white, thick but quickly collapsing head, deep hazy golden blonde robe. Typical lambic aroma of lemon, sweat, sulphur, wood with difficult to identify, spicy accents (cloves, wormwood) and a faint hint of bitter honey. Complex lambic funkiness in the taste paired with a dry, grapefruity and spicy bitterness with a subtle honey sweetishness in between, only coming to glory when the deposit is added - apparently the honey component was lurking in the bottom of the bottle. Strange product, difficult to rate, not your average honey beer. Glad I tried this. AndySnow (7621) - Huddinge, SWEDEN - MAY 17, 2014

Where: Akkurat, Stockholm.
Appearance: Hazy pale yellow colour with a white head.
Aroma: Honey, tart, sour.
Body: Light body, low carbonation.
Flavour: Sour honey.
Stark karbonisierter Antrunk, wenig säuerlich. Angenehm würzig und wärmend, der Alkohol ist nicht erkennbar. Die Karbonisierung stört etwas, wenig bitter, komplex mit minimal hopfigen Noten. Sehr gut. 12/13/12/12//12 DrnkMcDermott (3099) - Downers Grove, Illinois, USA - JAN 3, 2014
2007 vintage, lists 7.9% abv. Cages cork top. Cork slides out easily, but the pour still has some fizz, so I hope it’s still okay. Shows a slightly ruddy and brassy yellow, with lots of bubbles clinging to the side. Smell has a little sweetness to it, then the tart and barnyard smell of a lambic. And, somehow, a bit "dusty" perhaps this is the impression from contact with the cork (though I’ve kept it upright all this time). Taste is kind of cheesy and again "dusty." Carries much more gueuze character than mead. I have to admit I have not acquired the taste for this—and no need to since they stopped making it—but it’s still somewhat pleasant and I may be happier to say I’ve had a chance to drink one of these than yet another overbearing barrel-aged imperial stout.
