4.5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
I’ve tasted this beer during the "Toer de Geuze 2011" at the brewery.
Wow, that’s probebly the best appetizer I’ve ever tasted.
Despite that’s a strawberry beer, the colour is like a lambic, slighly darker. But the aroma of the strawberries are in your nose when you’re pouring it out. And the smell is about "real" strawberries. The taste is like a real lambic and the aftertast, the full aroma of the strawberries are there again. when finished the bottle, I got the taste that I’ve eaten a bowl of fresh strawberries.
I’m a lamic lover and a strawberry lover, gosh, lovly combination. Fanastic beer as an apero or hot summer night,
Served with no carbonation, maybe just a tiny hint. Aroma is amazing, wild strawberry intense and almost perfume like. Just amazing. Taste is light tart, with some light fruity notes not as complex as the aroma. Medium bodied, no to very light carb.
375 ml bottle poured into a brandy snifter. No pop when I took the cork out. Seemed flat, but there was a little bit of a spritz in there. The aroma is creamy and fruity strawberry. Mildly tart and fruity. Medium body and light carbonation. JStax (7307) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - JAN 8, 2018

Free pour to ring in the New Year at Mikkeller DTLA. Orange gold in color with a strawberry toejam aroma. Lactic acidic sour strawberry with some jam and hay notes. Odd but nice enough. adamnowek (3508) - Brussels, BELGIUM - DEC 31, 2017
UPDATED: DEC 31, 2017 Slight opacity. Straw yellow. Aroma is super funky; the strawberries are barely noticeable. They are much more so on the tongue, after the big and bold vinegary sourness at the start. Zilverenmaan (315) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - DEC 25, 2017
Poors slightly hazy, rich ocre, no head. Aroma medium to strong: lots of sour apples, some lactic acid, tart and strawberries add complexity. Aroma of strawberries faint but noticable. Taste same level of medium complexity but even more sour, much more sour than most geuzes, strawberries much more present. Mouthfeel rather flat but not bad in any way. Combination of strawberries and lambic is very tasty, the complexity is decent but the sourness is a lot to take. I had to drink it with pauzes to allow my palate to recover but I must admit it gets a bit addictive. Extra points for the whole experience.

F: no real.
C: deep gold, hazy.
A: horse blanket, funky, woody, bit strawberries, fruity vinegar, peach.
T: woody, sour strawberries, puckering, barnyard, bit sulphur, very dry with nice subtle strawberry tones, can be compared with 3F or Cantillon but not so famous and overhyped, medium body with no carbo, fully enjoyed, 37,5cl bottle from Prik & Tik Leuven.

UPDATED: NOV 27, 2017 very sour even for a lambic but after a few drinks it does feel more palatable Stuu666 (15248) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - NOV 24, 2017
Bottle at home. Pours golden, nose is strawberry, horseblanket, funk, taste is balsamic, tart strawberry, funk. solidfunk (9729) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - NOV 14, 2017
Seriously good aroma. Lots of crackery bretta and some lime. Initial taste goes pretty smooth but this beer has a super strange effect like X-Files. After a three second delay, a super sour aftertaste comes over you. Strange sensation. Pours hazy golden with decent head. Tap at Sovereign. guzgorog (969) - FRANCE - NOV 7, 2017
