COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
As with all Gueuzes, Hanssens is a mixture of several vintages to produce a lambic which is refreshingly fruity.

This is the result of blending different lambics of different ages. The second fermentation takes place inside the bottles and therefore they are stored for minimum six months in constant temperature kept cellars.

Dark blond with lasting thin head. Aroma has lots of horsey, farmyard, bacteria and manure. Flavour is much more balanced. Touches of funk. Nicely dry.

Aroma is very nice, very herbal (with mint, sage, basil), behind those is a lot of hay, some funk and a bit of vinegar (sweet, balsamic vinegar smell). In flavor theres a bit too much of the vinegar. Still, quite a good gueuze, not the fruity type.
