UPDATED: MAR 26, 2005 Hazy orange-amber colour with white head. Clean lambic aroma is mainly leathery, with just a hint of cheesiness. Very tart palate, aggressive, some stank feet, apple, lots of leather and a fair amount of barrel character. Body is spritzy, moderate. Finish is leathery, with a woody dryness and a kiss of sweetness right at the end. TBone (17532) - Pori, FINLAND - MAY 21, 2005

UPDATED: DEC 30, 2008 Bottled, 37.5cl chamgagne-cork. Unclear, orange beer with some clouds and a nice white head. The nose is barnyard, apple, fruit, yeast, cellar and quite sour. Nice flavor with yeast, cellar, citrus and green apples. Quite astringent and fizzy in the mouth, with a long sour finish. Really lovely after 5 Swedish swills. Palate-cleaning. Rating: 7-4-7-4-15-3.7. (060824)jtclockwork (16581) - , New Jersey, USA - SEP 4, 2012
Bottle, 37.5cl corked. A hazy, orange beer with a white head. Horse blanket, some wheat and citrus in the aroma. The flavor is much the same, but the citrus and horse blanket are more evident than the wheat. Astringent, tart and citrusy. Plain lovely, more-ish and refreshing. (080926)
Bottle. Pours old gold with white head. Nose/taste of aged cheese, funk, splintered wood, tart fruit and lemon zest. Medium body. Semi-dry finish with a moderate pleasant acidity.

A: The usual cloudy, sparkling, yellow-gold liquid with a bit of white foam on top that dissipates somewhat quickly.
S: You can tell this one is going to be great just from the nose. Tart lemon and lactic acid, along with a nice musty and earthy quality.
T: This one starts off with a tongue buckling sourness to it. Wonderful lemon and green apple flavors, in terms of the fruit. There is a slight bit of oak and a dry funkiness.
M: Very effervescent and medium in body with that wonderful dryness.
D: There’s only so much of this stuff you can drink before it burns a hole in your stomach, but even then, I’d probably keep drinking it. One of the better Gueuzes I’ve had, and at the price, you can’t beat it. Dedollewaitor (16158) - Odense, DENMARK - MAY 20, 2008

Extremely sharp aroma, almost vinegary. Extremely sharp taste, but very nice apricot still remains. Sour dominated, but deep down there’s a fullness in the wood esters that makes you love it!

Very nicely mellowed. Lovely apricot. Sourness still there. of course. Dang, magnificent, Apricot all over the finish. Aging worked wonderfully.
