bottle shared by tom10101, thanks bro. pours cloudy dark red without a head, no lacing. cherry piths, red grapes with their skin, spices, vinous character, light acetic and nice acidic profile - completed by citric/lactic notes, nice barnyard (perhaps hanssens’ most barnyardy of their fruit lambics). low carbonation, light body - oily, tart and fruity-grassy-spicy finish. very nice! mathieuc (4000) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 24, 2013
Pours a nice burgundy with no head. Aroma is really nice with fresh cherries meat, acid and funky/cheesy notes. Taste is of sweet cherries, tart but not puckering. Body is light, mouthfeel juicy/vinous. There were no rough (acetic) edges in this one, really nice. By far the best Hanssens of the night, I’d pick that one up from time to time. From bottle at friends house last July. Pours a raspberry red. Sour cherry aroma. Minimum carbonation and big sour mouthfeel. Flavor of sour cherries, citrus, lemon, slight white vinegar. Overall a tasty sour with nice tart finish. DSG (15403) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - DEC 3, 2013
Bottle sample at a sour tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks zvikar. Beautiful deep red to purple color with no head. Lovely aroma of cherries, oak, leather, lemon, vinegar notes and a bit of barnyard. Sour flavor, funky, oaky, with cherries and a lemony finish, puckering and astringent, with a light acidic burn in the throat. Lovely. Experiment_Ale (1098) - Dallas, Texas, USA - NOV 22, 2013
At my place with Taylor, Kimberly, Lillian and oly. Pours totally flat bright red. Aroma is light acidic, sweet very nice sour notes reminiscent of Gueuze. Taste is acidic sour, subdued vinegar, grape skins, bitter fruit peels. Finish is medium a idic, some fruit, good.
Aroma is phenomenal, but the fast is a little too acidic and light on flavor.

Too expensive corked and caged small bottle. Pours a deep dark reddish color with almost no head. A big very sour woody and fruity nose. Sour cherry, some sweeter pie cherries as well, wood, sawdust, lacto. Really is janus faced being super sweet and very sour. Good brew. jackl (8556) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - SEP 20, 2013
Expensive bottle from Wine Warehouse, C’ville. The pour’s still deep red. No head at all. The nose is very rich cherry, dirt. Nice earthy sweetness. Moderately tart. Yeasty funk. The taste is moderately tart, sour. Moderate lactic funk. Meaty cherry sweetness. Light body, hardly any carbonation whatsoever. Overall, a touch more carb would liven this up. Still, pretty tasty stuff. vtafro (7451) - Wayne, New Jersey, USA - AUG 26, 2013
Bottle. Dark ruby pour with white lacing. Raspberry and cherry tart fruit aromas. Cherry flavor has become muted, light acetic tones. This is lacking some carbonation as well, but it could be very good. shoulderbroken (4256) - Tokyo, JAPAN - AUG 21, 2013
Bottle at Grote Dorst. Red amber colour, no head. Aroma is bit poopy, light sourness, not much cherry. Taste is good, initial sourness, cherry goodness. Finish more cherry.

Bottle from hop city bought about 8 months ago - aroma is sour cherries. The dark ruby brew tastes sour with a tart bite, finishes like watery syrup. Overall, solid.
