Bottle @ home 20141016. Pours dark brown with a tan head. Aroma of toffee, dried fruits, caramel, popcorn. Taste is toffee, vanilla, almonds, caramel, salt licorice, dried fruits, raisins. Oily mouthfeel. Medium carbonation, salty somehow.

Doft: Russin, kanderat socker, hård fruktkaramell, humle. Smak: Som doft + dadlar, vaniljglass. Saknar lite längre eftersmak.

Malty and caramel aroma. Caramel is best in taste. It has a really "Barley Wine" of saithe in both taste and aroma. The upper part of the mouth gets its bitterness for a long while. But feels most mediocre anyway. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

330 ml bottle courtesy of Alex. Thanks. Pours a dark brown color with a small off-white head that recedes to a fine film. The aroma is raisins, carrots and slightly sour toffee. The taste had ample raisins, brown sugar and some nuts, but not very much bitterness. The palate was full and a bit oily with soft carbonation. Finishes short and sweet. Overall: Interesting brew, a nice change of pace from the barley wines that I typically get.

Dark brown color with medium to low darkish head. The aroma is clearly caramel and raisins. The taste is in line with the aroma. Quite sweet too, completely lacking any bitterness. Not really my kind of beer.

Röda bär, mycket frukt, dadlar, plommon, russin, lite karamell. medel sötma, lätt beska. Nästan lite syrlig.

panacea (94) - Mölndal, SWEDEN - JUN 27, 2014
2012 vintage. Nose is almost nothing. Maybe some dried fruit sweetness but very subtle. Taste is lots of dried fruit, sweetness and some booze. Body is perfect for the style. Some nose and this beer would be perect.

Ktwse (5233) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 13, 2014
Pours clear dark brown with a finger of light tan head. Aroma of toffee, vanilla, caramel, light bread, light banana, some basement aromas. Taste is big, bold butterscotch burnt butter sweet, long sweet finish. Body is rich and creamy although with very rich carbonation, which kind of pulls the entire package apart.
