Erzengel (8894) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - AUG 14, 2016
10.4% ABV, Batch Nr. 221B-1, MHD 15.09.18. Intense sticky malty nose. The beer starts very sticky with lots of sweet caramel, herbs, butterscotch. Intense creamy roasty. Moderate bitterness in the aftertaste, fresh and round. Roasted hazelnuts, caramelised almonds. Great round and intense thick. Full and rich, great!

SvanteL (574) - SWEDEN - SEP 25, 2016

brown colour, minimal sized beige-ish head; aroma and taste of dried plum, dates maybe apricot and raisins soaked in cognac, walnut, some chocolate and herbal liqueur notes; great barley wine!

Tinco (620) - Linköping, SWEDEN - APR 20, 2017
Bottle from 2009, 11.5% ABV. Pours a clear dark golden, red liquid with a brown head that disappears quite quickly. Aroma is of berries, caramel, dark sugars, molasses, sweet raisins. Taste is sweet, round alcohol, rich caramel and malty feel. Complex caramel sugars. Still good amount of small round carbonation bubbles. Really nice! :))

ante (3373) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - OCT 1, 2005
(sampled draught at Stockholm Beer Festival) Cloudy dark amber with a generous, creamy beige foam. Very fruity aroma of melon, pear, flowers and grapefruit. Full, fruity flavour of oranges, lemon, floral hops and grapefruit with distint undertone of licorice. Creamy mouthfeel, well hidden alcohol. Long orangey aftertaste. Nice!

Marsiblursi (3076) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - OCT 3, 2006
UPDATED: OCT 11, 2007 (Draught) Pours hazy amber/red. Very special aroma of strawberry yoghurt and dough. Raisins and plums with some vanilla. Caramell, dried fruits, apricot and alcohol in the flavour. Sweet medium body. (Draught, second try) Pours deep reddish brown. Incredible and fat aroma of sugary and buttery toffee. Also some caramel and vanilla ice cream. Flavour is the same, fat and sweet like liquid toffee. Some spicy hops and some apricot are also present. Full mouthfeel and body.
