Bottle thanks to Pollack. Interesting and weird imperial stout. Pours black with tan head. Nose is thick liquid raisins, prune, vanilla, dark fruits and deep dark chocolate malts. Taste is somewhat lightly roasted chocolate malts, burnt coffee, sarsaparilla, cumin spices, dried fruit and vanilla. Very interesting spices. The cumin (or whatever it is) really stands out in the flavor profile. marcus (10869) - Sacramento, California, USA - FEB 14, 2011
Bottle at the Triple Rock Sour & BA Fest. Pours dark brown with a thin tan head and a rich chocolate aroma. There is a dry chocolate and treacle flavor with a slightly bitter finish. Very tasty. bhensonb (15968) - Woodland, California, USA - FEB 14, 2011
Bottle at the Triple Rock Sour & BA Fest. Pours black w/tan foam. Nice chocolate aroma. Milky. Smooth. Flavor is very smooth; milky chocolate finishing dark. There’s a suggestion of sour in the finish, but likely burnt malt. Mouth smacking; dryish finish. SirLimpsalot (4698) - SWEDEN - NOV 2, 2010
En imperial stout som hade stort och trevligt skum. Doften bestod mest av trä och rostade toner.
Smaken var ganska rökig, annars ganska tunn.
Som sagt.. rostade toner, men annars ganska klen. Pinball (12600) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - OCT 29, 2010

Pitch dark, smooth large light brown head. Looks really appetizing.
hops, chocolate, herbal notes, Roasted grains in the aroma, Pretty solid. Like sticking my nose down into a big box of chocolate or something like that.
flavor is slighly herbal-flowery-hoppy-fruity-badcoffeish which i sometimes find in imp. stouts and don’t like. However there’s much more. roasted grains. raisins. sweet licorice. Flavor is full. ends sweet licorice, slightly bitter, some chocolate. I don’t *really* like this one, but though it tastes slightly weird, it gains a lot by being very full flavored with a solid body.

Nice big vast light brown foamy head.
Color of beer is black.
Smell roasted malts, coffee, hop, hint of dark fruit and bit sweet.
Taste is a nice balanced mix of roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, hint of liquorice, hint of dark fruits, hint of hops and something like brown sugars.
Light bitter in the end with a light sweet more coffee aftertaste. Fin (11059) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - AUG 30, 2010
Bottle that I picked up from Dranken Geers, Oostakker, Nr Gent, Belgium June 2010, consumed at Shrewsbury Folk Festival 29.08.10 Pours dark, dark brown with a tan head. Really tasty beer, with loads of roastiness, dark chocolate and general bitterness, fair bit of coffee sluishing about as well. 33cl, Swedish brewery, from Slijterij van Bergen Eindhoven, complex Stout, yet easy to drink, balanced, hazy, good head, good brew, but expensive!
